I guess Louis Nix is too much to hope for, isn't he?

Don't like Nix. I'm not saying that he won't fit the scheme. I'm not saying he is too heavy.

I've watched 8 games Nix has played in, and I just don't think he's that great. Certainly not the best DT in the draft.

of course the dozen other so called 'big games' that he played well in does not matter if you can find one or two that he did not.

But then you are a Romo hater as well so that disqualifies you as regards being taken seriously as regards assessing anyone...

Romo-hater? You can't be serious. One of my favorite players by the way. Doesn't stop me from criticizing him along with others I like such as Witten and Ware et al.

Now as far as assessing talent, you would agree that we shouldn't take seriously anyone who thought Brady Quinn would be an all-pro? And also, if that same person was advocating trading or 1st round pick for an OT who had a bad back and didn't play much? You forget who that great talent assessor was? :D

I think Nix is a good fit for any scheme. I think he's the best DT prospect in this very deep draft. I like him better then Donald but I'm not sure he will be there and if he is, I'm not sure we will take him over Donald because of our scheme either.
