Time to move on from Free. I believe he's a UFA now.

He is under contract for next season but is due a 5MM salary and the team saves 2.5MM by cutting him.

He had some good games this year but some bad ones like this, I can't see them bringing him back next when he was this inconsistent.

The only thing that soothes me is that I will not have to see this turd on my television for the next 8 months or so. The other thing that soothes me is that the GIANTS are also sitting at home. Here is hoping this Joker is done in Dallas.

It used to be Carr, but there's no player I hate more than Free on this team. He's a boy playing with men. He's a disappointment outside of practice.

He needs to not be on this team next season. Period.
Exactly. Brice really hurt us. He was a liability. That stupid 12 man in the huddle crap and then the dropped TD pass. Free needs to be gone or remain as a backup. He's just bad and makes too many mental errors at the worst times. Here's the players I don't want on the team next year:
Mo Claiborne- can't stay healthy, not even for one game, I don't want to invest money into him and watch it sit in the training room
Carr- unless he takes a massive pay cut
Free
Butler
Dlaw- can't stay healthy and when he is healthy in not effective enough to be a starting DE, let him go when he's a FA

We must FREE ourselves of FREE. He must not be on this roster any longer.

Heh heh... I am not committed to him, but we have a LOT of personnel decisions to make this year.

We need a starter at RT and we still need a reliable swing tackle. With Leary headed to UFA-- our OL looks like it very well could take a step or two back if we don't get the right guys.

As much as I agree we can improve at RT-- I believe Doug could be a valuable swing tackle as he can play both LT and RT and knows the system.

Better than Cleary for sure-- and more durable than Chaz. Hopefully we shore things up

Dude is the biggest weak link on the line. You can tell just by looking at him..

Apparently, our opponents agree. I always wondered why he did not talking to the press. The guy has really regressed.

Free is a lost cause. I will be giddy when he's no longer on this team.

We HAVE to resign Leary. Period. That's the #1 FA target of the offseason. The draft is all defense. Grab a few WRs in free agency. There are players who can catch all over the league.

I don't think they are signing Leary-- not when you also have to sign Martin and Dak and Zeke are going to HUGE contracts in the 3rd year of their rookie deals.

Even with Romo's contract coming off the books-- we are going to have to be smart about resources along the OL-- especially when we have Collins

Mark my words, if they don't sign Leary, they will struggle to make the playoffs.
The cap is going up, and three years is a long way away. And there's no need to touch Zeke's connect for 5 years.

Next year, Free is set to count $7.5M against the cap. $5M base salary and $2.5M bonus.

I would love for them to sign Leary-- but I just cant see them allocating ghat much cap to the OL.

We may take a step back-- but Collins is still a great talent that can step in. IMO-- we have bigger needs on D that need Leary's cap money.

Cut the Freeloader and use the money to keep Leary for a couple years

Too many fans in the FO and CZ for that kind of logic

even if we can't keep Leary let CGreen and Cleary fight it out.......it cannot get worse per capita dollars
