Same thing happened to me with my last car, a blue Nissan 350z. I owned the car for 3 days and then got a dent on the drivers side door.
Then the rest of the time I owned it (for 2.5 years) I never got another one.

As for the OP, I feel for ya. Nice cars seem to be targets nowadays. I've seen people do some really detestable things to other people's cars. Couple drunk teenagers in the building I live in thought it would be cool to throw liquor bottles and other stuff out their window and ended up smashing a guys windshield.

I've gone outside to go to work a few times to a half filled pop bottle sitting next to my rear tire. Thankfully whoever threw it from their car had bad aim. I've also come out of Wal-Mart to find someone had gone out of their way to spit on my wife's door. And I park WAY the hell out there.

I gave up on the idea that my car would go undented a long time. Shoot, my ex dented my car about three months after I bought it. He opened his door wide so I could see into this rental car.

For the longest time, that was the only dent I had. I noticed another one on the passenger side. That one doesn't bother me since I don't have to look at it.

Generally, I try to park where one side of the car is next to a wall or something immovable. I usually back into the spot so if it gets dented, it'll be on the passenger side and I won't see it.
