I simply ignore Skip Bayless. That really dives people nuts who are trying to get a rise out of you.

You just reminded me of how good "red beans and rice" is. I really like "Popeye's" style too.

It's like that all over this town man. There's an amazing place here called Mi Nidito. It is so good that President Clinton had heard of it and asked to eat there when he was here on a visit. They named a plate there the Presidential Plate in honor of his visit.

It consists of all the foods he ordered.

Bean tostado, birria (spiced shredded beef) taco, chile relleno, chicken enchilada, and a beef tamale.

It is a mountainous plate of food. I think it's like $10.50.

Do they have secret service men watch the cooks or short order cooks prepare the food? I hope so. Sorry about the tangent.

You know, I was having lunch at the Cracker Barrel yesterday and what did I find on their menu but Fried Okra to go with my Chicken and Dumplings (Love their Chicken and Dumplings). Turned out pretty good, so I thought I would let you know in case you never managed to track down your batch.
