Ok in 2008 parcells couldnt get it done, but Phillips went 13-3 with the same people? So anytime there is any success Jerry has absolutely no part in any of it, but when they fail nobody but Jerry is to blame?
When they can't get it done for 17 years and the one consistent in all that time is JJ, JJ is who I'll blame.
And by the way Parcells himself already came ou and destroyed your way of think in his recent interview and saying Jerry had the last say even when he was there.
Strange, because in this recent interview Parcells said it wasn't that way when he was in Dallas.
While there might be a national perception that Jerry Jones calls all of the shots and doesn’t listen to those around him, especially his head coach, Parcells says in his time there, that was the furthest thing from the truth, calling it a huge misperception about the Cowboys’ owner and general manager.
“Oh yeah, definitely. I think it’s distorted,” Parcells says. “I think there’s a definite misperception. I just think everyone thinks a certain way. I didn’t see it to be that way. I think Jerry is a good businessman and a good listener. What you have to do is make sense to him. You’ve got to make sense to him. If he thinks you’re making sense, he’ll alter his opinion. I enjoyed him. I like him. I like him a lot.”

And isnt there proof? Parcells didnt want Ware, he was overruled by jerry. Parcells didnt think Romo was a good QB, he was again overruled.
I've never seen that Parcells did not want Dware under any circumstance, but that he didn't want to draft him in the position they did, he wanted Spears and probably though Dware would still be there later, since he was from such a small school. And I don't really know what you mean about Romo, it was Peyton and Parcells that brought Romo in.
My point about Parcells is, he was never really a personnel guy at the Giants, but he did a better job than JJ. The lack of talent on this team now is all on Jerry. True, Jerry can sometimes find good players, but he is not consistent and tends to make bad personnel decisions. Jerry might get back to making good decisions, but in my opinion he needs a good GM with good personnel sense to help him make those decisions.
