I hate the Chiefs

I hate the Chiefs, absolutely hate them. Single game tickets go on sale for local residents next Wednesday. I had intended to make my way out in the morning to pick up a couple of tickets to the Cowboys game.

Today I read in the paper that they are making people buy tickets to a preseason game if they want tickets to the games against the Cowboys and Steelers. There goes any chance I had at purchasing a ticket at a reasonable price. Now I'm forced to go to ebay or stubhub or something of the sort so I am not wasting $70 on a ticket that is worth less than the paper it's printed on. I guess the Chiefs don't want any fans on a limited budget going to their games with the booming economy and all.

Reportedly, the Cardinals did it to keep Dallas fans out of the stadium, but I'm sure profits played a part too. I was so bummed out about how that game went and ended that I forgot to check out how many Cowboys fans I could spot on TV. Were we well represented, Hos?

We always are.

We'll the tampa bay bucs aren't as mean spirited. I've scored 47 tickets to the open day game thru group sales without having to buy a second game.

So you might pay 100 bucks total?

Here in Dallas we call that a bargain.

Jerry did the same thing at least in the mid 90's when we'd come to Texas. Had to buy a preseason ticket for every regular ticket.

The first year I did it, the next 2 years I just kept the money and bought off scalpers good seats.

Probably closer to $300. For 2 seats. I can do much better than that on ebay, etc. I did much better than that in Dallas last year.

Pre-season tickets go for cheap.

I got four tickets as well for the bucs game....my cuz has two season tickets he's giving me for the game and his friend also gave me his two tickets...

It worked out great because I'm gonna drive down from South Carolina for the game....

They go for cheap when you sell them, but they don't go cheap buying them from the club.

Yep....I think they started the trend
Well idk when the Cards started doing it, but Buffalo did it in 94ish when the Cowboys visited there. In order to get individual game tickets, you had buy a preseason game and another regular season game ticket.

...my dad still bought the tickets :)

If I were Jaxonvil, I'd do it for the 4 most popular teams coming to play in their stadium. Maybe that way they'd be able to open up those top 10,000 seats and have a legitimate sell out.

Let me know if you find reasonable prices for this game. I have been checking out ebay and craigslist and the nosebleed sections are going for about $100 a piece. Decent tickets $150 on up. BTW...I hate the Chiefs too:)

I'm not surprised. I was at the Cardinals game against the Cowboys in 2006, and in the 4th quarter all you could hear was "DALLAS........COWBOYS" throughout the stadium.

It was loud...and it was awesome.
