It was a marvelous hit. Loved it.

No reason to blame Bill B or Taylor for the play. This game should not be played. The event is a joke.

To me, the best part of that play was the way Moorman punked Taylor by popping right back up.

Brian Moorman, Tough Guy. :)

Sean Taylor jacked up a 30 year old, 6 foot, 170 pound punter. :laugh2:

And would do the same to a 20 something year old, 5-9, 150 pound guy named HH31.

I didn't see much of the game, but the highlights of that hit just rocked. Those kinds of hits players dream about.

What made it even better, the guy got up. No injuries.

The real idiot yesterday was T. Suggs.

He hit Brees twice and both hits were late.

Not only was the 2nd hit late but it was low and resulted in a dislocated elbow.

Brees, Payton and the Saints are lucky he didnt receive a knee injury.

For the record - Belichick was NOT the one who called the fake punt. It was the special teams coach whoever that is. So despite all the hate for belichick lets not just try and knock him on anything and everything. As for the hit - it sure was a great play by Taylor. For those of you who don't like it what do you want Taylor to do? Let the punter run by him and get the 1st down on a 4th down. NO CHANCE!

Of course it's already up on youtube...

Defensive players typically don't deliver their hardest hits in Hawaii, and Brees -- who throws right-handed -- didn't appear to get hit particularly hard while throwing a fourth-down incompletion on the NFC's second offensive series.

Washington safety Sean Taylor ignored those rules of decorum in the third quarter when he hit Buffalo's Brian Moorman hard enough to knock the punter's legs at least 2 feet off the ground. But Moorman, who had been attempting a fake run, popped up and ran onto the field to say hello to Taylor.

"Believe it or not, it wasn't as bad as it looked," Moorman said.

that hit he put on Buffalo's punter yesterday was PRICELESS.:D Typical Belicheck, getting cute and running a fake punt in an all star game. What an A-hole. Almost backfired on him too.;)

If there is a safety in the NFL that CAN'T do that to a punter, I'd like to know who it is.

It was a punter, People. It's not like he knocked out Earl Campbell.

This is what Taylor does to actual football players...

I'm all about great plays regardless of who makes them and that hit by Sean Taylor was awesome! I mean why did Bellichek call for a fake put anyways, Sean did the right thing and laid the wood!

I had the opposite reaction. I kept thinking "what an idiot." It's the pro bowl. What happens if the punter twists his knee or breaks a bone? There's a reason that was the only "big hit" laid yesterday. No one else was even trying -- and for good reason.

I suppose you'd be more happy if they changed the rules in the Pro Bowl to "two hand touch". LOL.
Please guy, it's football. Geez.

It is funny that folks are all over Taylor about this -- Roy laid serious wood a few years back in the probowl. Wonder how folks here would have reacted to that?

everyone that wasn't a Cowboys fan was criticizing left and right even though he actually held back on the hit

I haven't really watched anything since the hit so I don't know how they are treating this one

When Roy did it though some media people even asked him why he would do that in a Pro Bowl and he had to defend himself

Exactly he killed a child among men and celebrates like he stopped Brandon Jacobs at the 1 yard line. Must of us on this board could have done a similar job on a PUNTER.

I had no problem with the hit but celebrating it when you had a free run at a defenseless guy, yes punters are defenseless they do not know how to juke, then celebrate the hit like it was something of an accomplishment to kill a guy that may have weighed 170 in pads.
