that hit he put on Buffalo's punter yesterday was PRICELESS.:D Typical Belicheck, getting cute and running a fake punt in an all star game. What an A-hole. Almost backfired on him too.;)

That was a great hit. I loved it, EVERY time they replayed it.

Poor Brian Moorman....:(

I had the opposite reaction. I kept thinking "what an idiot." It's the pro bowl. What happens if the punter twists his knee or breaks a bone? There's a reason that was the only "big hit" laid yesterday. No one else was even trying -- and for good reason.

That's ridiculous. It IS the pro bowl. You're there to strut your stuff. Taylor's "stuff" is laying the wood. I don't get my goat up when Roy lays people out in the pro-bowl, and I sure don't when anyone else does. It was a GREAT hit, even if it was on a stick figure punter. The reason it was the only big hit was because Taylor was the only one who could get a clean shot. You saw the players reaction. They loved it. Nothing wrong with laying the lumber in ANY game.

I'd just love to see if all the Skins trolls who were pissing and moaning about Roy decking Smith last year applauded Taylor. Probably. Hypocrites.

There was an idiot involved. But it was Belichek for calling that play. It was 4th down in an exhibition game. Just punt the freaking ball. Nobody wants to see Brian Moorman running the ball.

I loved the hit and not because I am a Commanders fan. But because I cant stand Lil' Bill.

It is funny that folks are all over Taylor about this -- Roy laid serious wood a few years back in the probowl. Wonder how folks here would have reacted to that?

Pro Bowl is a crappy game.

The 2 things I enjoyed were, the Carson Palmer perfomance and the Sean Taylor hit.

Otherwise same old crappy game it has been for years.

I'm with the majority here. It's a FOOTBALL game. As Herm Edwards once said: "We play the game to WIN!" That being said, if lil' bill is going to pull that stunt I'd take a 30 yard run at the punter and knock him into outer space just like Taylor did. I must admit, I respect the fact Moorman got right up; he had that "I just got jacked up" look about him rolling on the ground, but almost immediately popped up and went to midfield to congratulate Taylor. (Maybe he WAS woozy from the blow after all!)

If it was Roy , you would have sharted on yourself...

Nice hit, thats what Moorman gets for trying to get some more yardage. He should have just ran out of bounds

I loved the hit...and every time they show it, I love it even more. It was just awesome. It was a clean, yet violent hit. And because it happened so suddenly made it just that more great.

Hey, Roy's laid out a couple folks in almost every pro bowl he's been in and I loved every one of them.

I dont' think I was on this message board then, but I certainly criticized Roy then as well. It's one step removed from flag football. Trying to look cool when everyone else is basically playing touch football, screams idiocy to me.

Well said and I also wanted to tell you that your guy, Darren Woodson was a favorite of mine. He was so underrated in coverage and had some all time hits. My favorite was against Jerry Rice of the 49er's around 1995 in Texas Stadium. The San Francisco treat came across the middle and Woody just about imploded him. I seem to recall a personal foul being called on it too. The game announcers were up in arms as the replay showed he hit him with his shoulder, not his head. He got a a few fines that were unwarranted because he just hit SO hard. Reminded me alot of Ronny Lott in that regard but was MUCH better in coverage than Lott ever was. Can you tell I miss watching him play?! Especially after our safety play this year:mad:

I feel bad for the punter because he didn't deserve it. Bill B. is a ****** for running that play.

He should put himself in as the punter next time he calls that play. It would be much sweeter if Sean layed the wood on him and not poor Moorman.

This is the first probowl game that I have watched (and I did not even watch it all) in at least 20 years!

But, I do agree that Taylor could have pulled up just a little...I mean the kicker is probably 175 lbs soaking wet...however, this is football and if you want to get on the porch with the big dogs....?

It was a clean hit and the kicker did get "jacked-up" big time, and lucky for him that he did bounce back up, but, he could have been hurt pretty bad...

Oh well...

Why would you think Bellichick forced this on anyone? Moorman's a pretty good athlete. My guess is he wanted it. Bellichick was not calling the plays, anyhow.

I dont care what team you are a fan of. That was a great hit.

To discredit it was idiocy is just being biased.

I cant stand the Panthers or Ravens, but if Lewis or Davis made that hit, my reaction would have been the same. Basically, Oh my.
