Because of Aaron Rogers the Packers have a punchers chance at winning... but Dallas is easily the more talented, more robust team.

Green Bay's defense is going to be in a world of hurt against what is a very talented Cowboys offense. They really need to help out their secondary all they can but Ezekiel will just kill them if they don't stack the box and fill all the gaps.

There's no doubt... their defense is in trouble.

With the Dallas pass rush coming to life late in the season and their secondary getting healthy, I think the Packers will have more difficulties scoring than the Dallas offense will. That is the bottom line.

Everyone wants to build this up as a very close match-up... but Dallas is too well rounded, too talented, too healthy, too well constructed and too well coached not to beat that team.

After the game, it will be easy for everyone to see. They'll talk about how Green Bay really hasn't beaten good teams in their winning streak and how they just didn't have the talent to match up with the Team from Dallas.

They should see it now though. It is there for anyone who knows football to see.

Green Bay isn't at Lambeau and they don't have freezing weather to hide behind.

They're going to have to match up man-to-man and stop Dallas from doing what they want.

It is too tall a task for an out manned team on the road against what is a rested Cowboys team that regularly is more physical than its opponents anyway.

David Helman: My entire outlook on this season changed in mid-October, when I picked the Cowboys to lose to Green Bay up at Lambeau Field. It had been an impressive 4-1 start, but surely Aaron Rodgers would put an end to the feel good story, right? Well, we all know how that turned out. Two rookies and a surprisingly ferocious defense dominated the Packers. It wasn’t even as close as the 30-16 score indicated. So here we are again – same matchup, way more on the line. I don’t think you can deny that Aaron Rodgers is the best player on the field in this matchup. The guy is unreal, and he’s going to hit this defense for several big plays. But here’s the thing I keep going back to: the Cowboys have the advantage at literally every other position on the field. They have a better defense. They allow fewer points. They have a more dynamic offense and a better offensive line. Their top receiver, Dez Bryant, is 100 percent and ready to go, while his counterpart, Jordy Nelson, has been ruled out. Aaron Rodgers is capable of winning this game on his own, but it just sounds like such a tall task. We know the Cowboys can run the ball to shorten the game and keep Rodgers off the field. We also know that if the Packers commit to stopping Ezekiel Elliott, Dak Prescott is capable of getting the ball to Dez, Cole Beasley and Jason Witten in favorable matchups. I think ultimately the Cowboys offense is too much for Green Bay to deal with. Rodgers is going to try valiantly, and he’s going to put up 385 yards and three touchdowns in an amazing effort. But Zeke’s 38 total touches and 215 all-purpose yards is going to carry the day. Dallas advances to the NFC Championship Game in a 31-27 win.

As would I.

Although I would settle for Whitehead consistently having good returns and getting the ball to the offense with favorable field position. Giving Dak, Dez, EzE and the rest of those guys a short(ish) field would see Dallas scoring a whole lot of points, IMO.

Throw in Jones having a good day punting the ball and Dallas would easily have the field position battle won in this game. If special team can give that offense consistently short fields, it justt might get ugly for the GB defense.

I'd almost hate to see Lucky run one back all the way because it takes away a drive opportunity for Dallas and gives the ball right back to Rogers... and I'm only half joking.

As for the blocked punt... very little gets the home crowd amped up more than that. I would love to see it happen. It is a turnover but better because of how it effects the momentum of the game.

Gee - no one ever mentioned how this game will be played on January 15th. The same calendar date the Cowboys won Super Bowl XII in New Orleans in 1978 (from the 1977 12-2 regular season).

January 15th has been very good to the Cowboys.

Ok all, I'll buy in!!!! Good energy, is well, good energy. I'm extremely nervous but at the same time I have this background feeling of confidence. So, it's a strange feeling overall. Lol With that said, I'm also looking to the law of averages. It's time for a changing of the guard and that time slot just so happens to be Dallas's. We've waited long enough!

"But Slammed no rookie QB has had that success before!"

Like I said. It's time. There's a first time for everything

Also, my best friend is a Falcons fan so I'm really hoping for that matchup because it'll make for a fun week. :)

Green Bay fans now (after the 90s) feel like Cowboys fans felt after the 66 & 67 championship games.
I say go bite a rock.
