I have a new take on beating Pats

This was far more than Nate Jones, Our Safeties are terrible in coverage.

We were blitzing and not really getting to Brady. Precipe for disaster

except the 2nd half we didnt blitz.

I thought it was all about hitting Brady and forcing him to mistakes. We did it early but as game wore on the more we went after Brady the more he burned us with quick releases. We were not getting to him.....

If you send the defense in to get to Brady and he beats us with quick passes.... what is the answer for that?

I always thought that you really need to rough up the WR within the 5 yards to disrupt any timing of those quick passes?

Is that close? correct?

I'm sorry but you come after Brady and if he beats you, then so be it. But you put him on his backside every chance you get.

You keep punching to the body, eventually it will take it's toll. But in order to come after someone of his calibre, you need to have 3 awesome corners who can just merely buy you a little bit more time. If some teams can have 3 great WRs, why can't we have 3 great corners?

Bah!!!! Leave the Pats alone. They will get beat by the Jags or the Colts in the playoffs anyways. IMO.

I agree..... hit them with so many lefts to the body that they beg for a right to the head LOL

I think in addition or even moreso than 3 great corners... we need to jam the WR's at the line... be VERY physical


What was the body count in the NE game? We knocked out 3 New Englanders.... I think we have knocked out atleast 3 players in every game this year except for booofalo game

I wouldn't panic to much because I think regardless who we have back their Brady is going to have success on them.

Im not buying into our secondary sucks but I am into buying what team can stop Tom Brady?

Im not worried. Especially when Henry gets back. Welkers day would have been much more minimal with Newman but at the end of the day they are just a better team and we will need a perfect game to beat them.

Key may be to flat out send 3-4 max and flood zones on him. Of course mix it up but if you can't get there blitzing sit back and make it difficult. He hot read us to death and put up a 50 spot.....

Blitz and press. (bump and run when blitzing) That is something we didnt' do. Of course that is a gamble, but then again. If you are afraid to risk something, then you can't succeed.
