Theres are risks involved with any transaction, I believe that Jerry and BP of all people know how to measure risk vs gain and make an intelligent decision based on their conclusion. If we sign him, I trust that they feel he'll add more to the team than he'll take away. Personally I think he could add a great deal of not only talent but swagger to our offense that we havent had since 2000 or so.

It doesn't affect that his "theory" is ridiculous to attempt to pidgeonhole disposition with age. If there were any truth to such a thing, it would be symptomatic everywhere and you wouldn't get different results on different boards.

I would welcome a debate on this rather than trying to come up with things like, "People of a certain age value TEAM PRIDE AND HARDWORK, and young people DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IT TAKES which is why they want TO."

In reality, your conclusions are without basis. Since you have not tested the theory, on other boards, you can't say with any amount of accuracy that the theory would or would not hold water. At this point, it is an opinion you happen to endourse. As such, it should be presented as opinion rather then as fact. You may be correct, but then again, you could be way off. This little test will only provide more insight to the burning question "TO or NO?"

As I said earlier, it is of little consiquence. JJ and BP will do what they will do and the rest is just a bunch of window dressing designed to keep the average fan from getting board in the off season. Nothing more, nothing less.
