The Dez issue has become amplified for me because there is a specific group of Dez fans around here (Dez Boiz) that are very very nasty people.

Each time I post something negative about Dez, a big part of it is me just giving that group of people the middle finger.

I think part of it is also me making fun of the methodology of the top 2 negative posters around here (One name starts with A and one with R). They just constantly post the same predictable negative comments over and over and over.

If all Dez fans were reasonable like you or @Trouty then I wouldn't have taken the Dez postings to over the top status.

I’m a huuuuuge Dez fan, and I’d like to think reasonable, and certainly not nasty, so don’t think I’d fall in line with who you’re talking to.

But do you really think those that support / believe in him are worse than the folks that trash him at every turn. I mean scathingly.

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen fans turn ona Guy so viciously, certainly not a guy who was long a fan favorite and integral part of the core.

I’ve come around to accept and understand those that really believe the team would be better served to move on. There’s an honest position In there with merit, even if I don’t agree. But boy there’s a contingent that just makes me really uneasy with how they speak about him

My negativity toward Dez isn't really lack of production. That happens.

My angst toward Dez is more geared toward how this has developed. Dez runs really poor routes in part because I believe he is mentally lazy. I could even live with that.

The problem I have is that Dak was playing REALLY well as a rookie and made great decisions with the football. It seems as though the team is telling Dak to feed the ball to Dez under the idiotic theory that Dez isn't covered even when he is covered because Dez is melting down over not being the stat leader and superstar. The team is placating Dez by force feeding him the ball. If that is the case this TEAM is much better off without Dez. Then couple that with a crippling cap hit and it is a double dose of castor oil.
