I have changed my mind on Dez

Players like Dez in his prime don’t come along every year, especially a receiver who can win physical battles and it’s not easy positioning yourself in the draft to get a player like that. You can’t just replace him with anyone.

I said in his prime and he’s past that but he’s still a very good receiver. You make it sound like it’s going to be easy finding a better receiver than him. He’s still the best receiver we have and it won’t be easy finding another receiver who can put up TDs like him.

I have reconsidered my position on Dez. I wanted him cut but we may be better off having Dez take a pay cut commensurate with his ability. He needs the same salary we paid Thompson and make him our #4 wide out. He would be a pretty decent #4 WR.

Maybe we should fatten him up and play him as a TE.

seriously? not aguy on this roster better and Huns maybe the only guy whos close 2nd.. sorry but i agree its nice to have Dez back and hopefully with some sort of team friendly restructure to lower base with incentives to earn a lot back.. But a 4 what are you smoking ..?
