He may know bledsoe, but his hands are tied.

The skins defense is highly overated.

Many times in this game and this year, they will step on the field with their backs against the goal line. Not much you can do about that. If they give up field goals, chances are they still loose.
Don't think I can't smell a Skins fan a mile away "blog".

yur *** is turfgrass, Monday.

WHAT??? You must not be a fan if you don't predict a 45-3 Cowboys domination!!!

Alot of us do not share the gross homerism you are reacting to Eddie..most of us get your point but it is stated better by the thread creator :)

I think by the 2nd quarter the blitzing will stop after Bledsoe hits Witten a couple of times. I also think that those worred about GW, should also consider that Bledsoe knows GW's strategies too. It is an advantage both ways.

The skins do have a good defense. It was one of the best in the NFL last year, and they did well against the Bears (OK it was just the Bears) last week. They are aggressive. I expect the skins to bring their 'A' game to Dallas this week. This is a game to not be overconfident about. Brunell played well against us last year. We will see a steady diet of Portis and Moss (both looked good against a decent Bears defense). Coming off a significant road win it is time to take care of business at home. To quote Mr Ogbogu..."We must protect this house."

Good post and point well taken and do agree. Though being at home, the Ring of Honor Ceremony and coming off a big first game win, I see the Boys winning. As suggested lets not forget about our D and what they did when it came down to the wire at our goal line. (Soo envious of you folks going to the game, never been to Texas Stadium.:()

The thing that worries me most about the Skins is that they're DUE.

You just know the law of averages will soon catch up to us......But then again, it seems like we'll never beat Philly again.

I watched the Skins games vs the Bears. They were very dull offensively. They couldn't muster anything, and even though he rushed for over 120 yards, Portis was pretty much contained.

Defensively, they are very stout. I know we are more talented than they are defensively, but they play well together, and are well coached. They didn't pressure Orton a whole lot because they kept dropping into coverages to confuse him.

Rest assured that will not happen with us. They will blitz DB. This is why I'm not nearly as confident as others on this board. I like DB, and I think he had a great game, but he has to prove to me that he can handle pressure.

This will be a big game for Rivera and Pettiti. I think the Skins will blitz to that side more....test the rook.

This is a game we should win. And that's what's bothering me....we should win it. During the past few seasons, the Skins held the talent edge and we beat them.

We're clearly better, and I guess that worries me.

On defense I suspect we load up against the run and make Brunell beat us. I like our CB match ups vs their WRs. If we get some consistent pressure I think they are going to be very hard pressed to do anything.
