Trying to read Rashard Mendenhall in the backfield without proper eye protection has been shown to cause blindness, dizzyness, diarrhea, and possibly cleat marks to the face.

Emmitt was shorter... not smaller. Maybe Felix can be fulltime but he's built thinner and faster than Emmitt, although he has similar intangibles.

There is no reason for any athlete if they want it bad enough to pay the price to get it.

From his college coach Houston Nutt: Felix can carry the load 25 times a game if you want. He gets stronger as the game goes on, and he's thicker and stronger than you think. Plus he has a feel for how to avoid contact at the last second and not take big hits.


I think because he was used as a backup at Ark. many just assume that he can't take on a bigger load. All I can say is I think every other back in this draft would have been playing backup to McFadden had they attended Ark.

I don't think people receive how exceptional Felix Jones'
quicks and vision are.

He'll be a FEATURE back for Dallas for the next 7 years.

I'll bet he puts up better numbers this year than Mendenhall
