I have no questions about Romo's heart.

Last week against the Giants, the man played through incredible pain and played a good game. I believe between his back and maybe not a quite fully recovered pinky hurt him in some of his throws, but he was getting pressured countless time tonight as well.

I will put it to you this way. If Romo had no heart, passion or fire we would have never had those last two TD drives we got. He never gave up in spite of everything that was going wrong, including a bad 1st half. While I still have some questions about his play in big games, this was clearly not the game for me to question this. He finished the game strong, he never quite. Anyone watching the game should just watch those last two TD drives he lead us on, where we saw much more the the Tony Romo of last year.

I am not trying to lift blame from Romo for this game, he is a part to blame, but he also gave us chances to get a come from behind win and there was only so much he could do. Maybe if our defense would have shown the same fire and determination that Romo did in the last parts of the game, we win this one.

Man, how different this game is if he hits Austin when Austin broke free or if TO doesn't lose the ball in the lights or if Choice catches that pitch and gets the first down instead of having to settle for a field goal.

Those two interceptions sucked, but if we win, it's probably forgiven.

I agree. Romo deserves some blame but not all the blame. This is mostly on Wade and the coaches.

The only thing I can say in his defense is that he was under duress, but I don't think Joe Flacco had an interception and the Cowboys sacked him several times.

He may also be playing hurt.

Regardless, he has proven he is good in the regular season, now he needs to take the next step in the QB Progression.

Bottom line:

Just like Campbell did in the first game against us - HE DIDNT LOSE the game for his team.

Today - Flacco didnt lose the game for his team. Romo turned the ball over 2x.

Neither do I. It's his brain I'm concerned with.

Hey Batman, Breaking News: HEART DOES NOT WIN GAMES!

According to most around here tonight, a lack of heart is what cost us the game. I agree that heart alone won't win games, but you gotta have heart, along with talent, to be a championship contender.

Which led to exactly 3 Baltimore points.

Much more costly was T.O. not locating that deep ball or Romo overthrowing Austin. Both plays should have been TDs.

Romo didn't lose the game for us tonight. He turned the ball over a couple of times, but that wasn't why we lost.

We lost because we couldn't move the ball for 3 quarters and when we did move the ball, our defense couldn't tackle.

What is screwed up is, lets say against Philly Romo throws for 400 yards and 6 TD passes and we win the game, and get in the playoffs. The same people pointing their finger at Romo for this game will be calling him a hero next week. I have no regrets about flaming Romo after the Steeler game, but this game here, no way does Romo take the blame for this loss. Blame the defense. No real defense give up back to back long runs like that. OUr defense sucks.

During the week somebody asked about keys to victory and a few folks said to not throw the ball near Ed Reed... Somebody should have shown those threads to Romo :p

I am witness to Batman's comments about tony romo's play. And he is not one to cut any slack. That said. Tony Romo put this team into position to stay in the game when it mattered. He's playing hurt, running for his life, and has little time to make the plays that we wanted to go our way. i dont care if the offense played poorly throught the game, the defense folded monumentally..Romo should bare some blame for the ints, but our coaches should be putting him in better situations, and coaching him to avoid that.

If To catches that ball there is no pick that leads to a Raven field goal, and Ware negated his first pick.

Dallas left about 18 points on the field with mistakes.

Just a huge turn right there. We had so many missed opportunities tonight.

Hell, if Hamlin makes a tackle, we might have gotten the ball back and won the game even with all the other negatives still there.

Just makes me sick to my stomach.

I respect you for making this post, Batman.

After the Pitt loss I thought you were just another Romo basher. Sorry for jumping to conclusions.

He gets the blame for the boneheaded mistakes, but Parcells warned everyone when Romo took over that he constantly needs someone in his ear trying to rein him in. I'm not sure anyone is even trying to do that right now.

Yeah, he did cut down the interceptions lately, but he makes them during crucial plays. We all saw how this team was without him. He's a good QB, but needs a good coach to become a great one.

FIRST OFF

let me start by saying im not a romo hater and will support him as long as he is our qb and i am a fan of his although he kills me at times

what i dont get on this site is how people think one play doesnt affect another

me and my friend whos a giant fan is always arguing about romo.

somehow he finds a way to **** up the entire game. pull a rabbit out of his *** late and the minute someone else messes up be it the defense or st hes completely off the hook

this brings me back to my post. one play effects another

you cant tell me if he doesnt throw that pick going into the half and hits a wide open owens and austin we dont win the game. the whole complexion of the damn game changes then

DO YOU PEOPLE NOT REALIZE THAT ONE GAME CHANGING PLAY LIKE THAT CAN EFFECT THE WHOLE OUTCOME

if romo hits owens for that td. now were the one sitting on the lead and those back to back runs dont happen.

go ahead pat romo on the back for his comeback in the 4th but dont act like he doesnt deserve blame. this isnt all the d;s fault while he took 3 quarters off their were
