I have no questions about Romo's heart.

Yeah, he did cut down the interceptions lately, but he makes them during crucial plays. We all saw how this team was without him. He's a good QB, but needs a good coach to become a great one.

Exactly. I think he's always going to need someone in his ear. It's like Favre and Holmgren. When they went their separate ways, they never achieved the same success. A lot of that has to do with Holmgren constantly in Favre's ear telling him what an idiotic throw that last one was. :D

There's no question about his heart... it's his head that seems to be the problem.

I didn't watch the game live, but have been watching highlights and just dumb dumb dumb dumb throws on the 2 INTs. the defense bailed him out on the 1st, but the defense can't be there to wipe up his messes every time.

As for the pass to Austin... Romo didn't have to rush it. He had time to set his feet and make a solid pass. Austin did everything he was supposed to...that one really burns

FIRST OFF

let me start by saying im not a romo hater and will support him as long as he is our qb and i am a fan of his although he kills me at times

what i dont get on this site is how people think one play doesnt affect another

me and my friend whos a giant fan is always arguing about romo.

somehow he finds a way to **** up the entire game. pull a rabbit out of his *** late and the minute someone else messes up be it the defense or st hes completely off the hook

this brings me back to my post. one play effects another

you cant tell me if he doesnt throw that pick going into the half and hits a wide open owens and austin we dont win the game. the whole complexion of the damn game changes then

DO YOU PEOPLE NOT REALIZE THAT ONE GAME CHANGING PLAY LIKE THAT CAN EFFECT THE WHOLE OUTCOME

if romo hits owens for that td. now were the one sitting on the lead and those back to back runs dont happen.

go ahead pat romo on the back for his comeback in the 4th but dont act like he doesnt deserve blame. this isnt all the d;s fault while he took 3 quarters off their were

Bottom line:

Just like Campbell did in the first game against us - HE DIDNT LOSE the game for his team.

Today - Flacco didnt lose the game for his team. Romo turned the ball over 2x.

So have we come back full circle to wanting a "bus driver?"

What is screwed up is, lets say against Philly Romo throws for 400 yards and 6 TD passes and we win the game, and get in the playoffs. The same people pointing their finger at Romo for this game will be calling him a hero next week. I have no regrets about flaming Romo after the Steeler game, but this game here, no way does Romo take the blame for this loss. Blame the defense. No real defense give up back to back long runs like that. OUr defense sucks.

Your posts in this thread have been excellent. Just level-headed comments. Nice to see. Flacco did fumble didn't he? That led to 7 points didn't it? The Ravens also fumbled a couple of other times. One time Hamlin decided to give it back to them and the other was a kickoff return that probably would have lost the game for the Ravens. We would be talking about Romo's late game heroics if we recover that or if our D could tacke on those two long runs. The game was frustrating and Romo started of slowly, but he was not the main reason we lost that game. Look at the ridiculous pressure he was under. Most other QBs would have been sacked many more times and turned the ball over a couple of times easily. Also, that first pick sucked, but it actually did not hurt us at all. It ended up being like a great punt and we scored a couple of plays later. The second pick and missing Austin by a yard on a deep pass were his crimes. He made a lot more big, positive plays in those final minutes than those two bad plays. Like I said in another thread, if you want a goat see Hamlin and his generous holiday spirit.
