I have not been a vocal critic of Wade...but here is HIS problem

We have one of, if not the most passive head coach in the league.

How are we supposed to run an aggressive, nasty defense if our coach is weaker than a ****ing twinkie?

Whoever runs this defense next, I want their personality to be like Rex Ryan.

the Chargers had a nasty aggressive defense when he was the dc. that's why I think it's more than just coaching. Jerry pampers these players and the lifestyle of a Cowboy is too good even when they're losers. I don't know i'm tired of searching for answers for this team always folding when it gets tough

Wade is a waste as a head coach,I wrote him off during the first half of the KC game.I think he's a decent coordinator but lacks the necessary skills to be an elite head coach.In Wade's defense even Parcells' teams had mental breakdowns though,maybe this team is a coach killer?

I think its the makeup of the players on defense....really....I dont see that hate.....from Ware...to Spencer....to Bradie....to Spears.....to Newman...to Hamlin.

I think the only player on defense that shows some of that hate....is Brookings.....and he really isnt that mean SOB we see from the Eagles...Giants...and Skins.

That was the first touchdown we've allowed near the end of the first half since the first game against the Giants, back in Week 2. And we haven't allowed a TD drive late in the fourth since the Kansas City game in Week 5.

Sorry Adam, but I'm done tolerating such apologies. That's all the offensive and defensive coordinators of this team are all about.

I think a team gets its personality from the head coach. A tough coach who rides them hard in practice and gets on them when they screw up helps.
I think when you make the practice hard on the players, that by the time the game comes around, they are ready to take on almost anything that comes there way. Playing the game is the easy part.

Wade wasn't the head coach. Marty was. Granted Phillips ran the defense, but Marty was still the head coach, and a defensive head coach at that.

I think Marty has muuch more of an aggressive coaching philosophy than Wade.

it is so much bigger than this year....we did the exact same thing against the Giants in the 2007 playoff game.....we kept there offense off the field...we dominated the stat sheet.....we have a 10-0 lead...then Spencer jumps offsides not ONCE but TWICE.....we don't tackle.....Barber fumbles. I mean you got 27 mins NOT doing these things....then in a 3 min spann you do everything so poorly that 10-0 turns into 14-10. That is just so unacceptable. That is what I call "making things HARD on yourself". Heck just finish the half....finish the half 10-0 or at worse 10-7....but to be LOSING at halftime to a team that had done nothing for 27 mins is just dumbfounding. It's almost like we lack confidence and are not comfortable with SUCCESS!!!!!!!!

It's annoying, actually beyond annoying, that so many people will join a site to complain about something that doesn't actually happen. Then the fall back is to say "I know what I see during the game."

It's really the only reason the "fiery coach needed" threads go on forever and are more numerous than sand on the beach. There isn't an empirical way to prove one way or the other a pet cat fiery coach will do better or worse than the current coach especially considering we see all of 90 to 120 seconds of sideline footage. People just love to complain, but not nearly as much as they like to write off the season and say "I told you so."

what are you talking about.....we gave up big play at the end of the half against the Bucs...the WR gets behind Jenkins and was overthrown for a TD....Newman lets a guy get behind him....Tampa misses a FG. We gave up end of halves scores against the Giants the VERY NEXT WEEK. We gave up end of halves scores against the Chiefs. We did it against the Panthers. We did it against the Falcons when we just flat out left a guy uncovered...and I am just going off the top of my head because I know it happens often....often enough for Wade himself to point out his 2 min defense needs work. Heck Bradie James came out and said that against the Commanders, the defense stepped up for the FIRST time when they needed to stop the other team from scoring to preserve a win. Heck Phillips defense did this against the Pats in the 2006 playoff game to lose as a 14-2 team! I said what I said because it is true....look it up and prove me wrong.

Wade does NOT stress paying attention to details and the little things. When you are up 10-0 with 3 mins to go in the half....and you have stopped the team from doing ANYTHING all day. How does that turn into 14-10 in a matter of 3 mins? This teams give up drives at the end of halves ALL THE TIME. You GATHER the troops....you remind them they have shut them down all day...and you need to finish the HALF STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Complete what you STARTED. A coach that STRESSES the OVERALL impact of losing the momentume at the end of halves is a coach the understands how you can quickly lose you mental edge and give the opponent a chance to improve their sagging confidence.

I agree with that, plus the decision by wade not to look at a kicker, then we had a chance to look at bryant, but again wade waits. He tries to say things are ok when we have problems and overcome this with other plays etc, but he does nothing to fix them till he has to and jerry tells him to fix it.

I am getting tired of this about wade, he is the head coach, he is suppose to be in charge and fix things before they become a problem.
