Martin is lucky to be playing at all folks... He has been suffering from plantar fasciitis for some time
and my memory serves me it is extremely painful and is long lasting. Please give this wonderful
rookie some slack for awhile. I understand that it's not an insignificant case and he will likely
play with it all season. The only cure is for him not to play and stay off his feet for an
extended period of time.

I didn't know it was that severe.

I appreciate the reminder, I did forget about this injury.

Not that I don't trust you, but do you have a link this this. It seems this would have been one of the top stories on this board if this were the case.

Again, nothing untoward to you.

That's what I used to love about Marc Colombo, there was not a man or pile he did not coming running to hit.

Martin has been a godsend. He was well taught by Harry Hiestand at Notre Dame, and is technically as sound a lineman as any rookie who has come into the league in a while. I couldn't be happier that he is a Cowboy. Working on playing through the whistle is something that will come with time. The other areas where he is so sound and proficient only highlights how good of a selection he was. Kudos to Jones and the scouting staff on this pick.

My biggest issue with Martin is his facial hair. It's quite embarrassing when compared to T Fred's. I mean go big or go clean shaven but his wispy thin beard has to go.

I don't have a link handy but I believe Broaddus talked about the problem during the last week of training camp.
You might be able to find it on video at DC.com. He may also have mentioned it in an interview with Mickey at
DC.com. It's going to be bothering him until the season is over I think. He should be able to overcome it
in the off-season.

some fans can only cheer lead. Others can only gripe. I prefer a healthy mix of the two.
