I hope K. Brooking rubs off on others ...

Fire breathing? Yes Jimmy was animated on the sideline so what when being the HC of the Hurricanes better known at the time as Gangster U where was the hard discipline?
I am not concerned with U of Miami the way you are. his demeanor worked in Dallas, didn't it?

If putting on the show on the sideline is what impresses you great but Landry never ranted on the sidelines hell his expression was the same win or lose. It has nothing to do with the sideline animation one way or the other and Johnson never once cut a decent player off the team that was reserved for guys like Richards.

It has nothing to do with the sideline animation? I see you deal with absolutes.
As for Landry, his silence-Cal demeanor was his way of saying "Inside is a volcano. Do not mess wit me." However, until the late 1960s, his teams were terrible. After his second Super Bowl victory, his teams were mediocre to good and then horrible until Jerra cleaned house in 1989. In 30 years he won two Super Bowl. Jimma took maybe 5 years to do the same. And who tolt you this world was a fair one? Certainly players are treated differently, so what's your beef? Huh! Huh, big boy!

If this team does not win then yes it is Wade butt
Really?:laugh2:

just like it was Gruden butt when his team was not getting it done and despite all his antics hollering and whaling on the sideline it amounted to nothing. That is not what inspires people to play hard.

Again, you deal with absolutes. One broad brush for ever body. You fail. Again. But, tell me, what does inspire people to play hard? Pls. tell ecause we'd really like to know, bub.

I thought it was a bit funny when Troy, Mike and Emmitt were doing an interview recently and talked about how Emmitt would fall asleep during meetings and film study, yet did Jimmy never once bench him or call him out to the press like many feel Wade should do?

Yes, Mr. Absolute, by all means. He should have cut Emmitt for falling asleep.:lmao2:

Carry on. (Not really)

I agree but seeing how Zach Thomas' attitude didn't appear to rub off, I wouldn't expect too much.

Not saying he should have cut Emmitt but this notion that he was so tough yeah he had Smith worried. :lmao2: You guys sit here with the fire breating hollering coach "h that coach is great" none of that crap has anything to do with being a good coach and getting a team to play hard. Gruden for the hollering he has done has been fired what 3 different times? Please save me the hollering and spitting coaches as somehow equates greatness routine
