Philly dominated us so bad I expect they will bring the same blueprint next week. It is up to our coaches to make necessary changes to counteract the Philly game plan and to have the team motivated and ready to play.

Seattle offense is not that good like ours. Eagles are going down and I believe the defense will make enough plays to give us a chance. We can torch there DB's downfield as long as Romo has time.

If Romo can move like Wilson in the pocket then maybe.

It seems whenever this defense is getting scorched it's usually due to the defense playing too much zone and not enough man– And then there's the Cowboy (player/coach/owner) after the game who says, "Well next game we plan on using more man-to-man and taking advantage of what our corners do best."

10 days to prepare instead of 3, willing to give Marinelli benefit of doubt that he will have D better prepared to succeed.

We can't play bend-don't-break zone against this team.

We have to line up and pop them in the freaking mouth.

SF did.

AZ did.

Seattle is.

Their offense is all misdirection and finesse and if you get physical they fold.

The Cowboys offense didn't give them a chance to win the game. As bad as the defense appeared, the Cowboys had some chances if the offense had performed.

name one defensive player on the cowboys that supplant's anyone on Seattle's defense....

Way to miss the point.

It is not about comparing players, it is about giving the players we do have the best chance to succeed. We suck at zone, we actually cover quite well in man. The Eagles have shown all season, and against us last year, that if you get physical with their receivers their offense goes in the crapper.

Simply put, what our D does best is what they have trouble with.

Rod knows what to do, but at the end of the day the players play the game and we lack the talent of Seattle's defense.

we if the eagles offense has a repeat Rod should be fired since he had 10 days and 7 days with the seattle footage of beating them

We don't have the defensive horses like Seattle... Our only hope he controlling the time of possession to keep our defense off the field as much as possible.

More like the Cowboys need to own time of possession, and it starts with the offense, who pooped the bed last game.

the cowboys don't have anyone on this roster that can play the Leo position in Seattle's 4-3, sooo using a "blueprint" from today's game is pretty much useless

all comes down to our offense keeping the _efense off the field

How the heck did the worst defense in the history stop that offense last year? Especially when Shady was having a career year last year.

Yeah. Pay attention, Rod. You see how these other teams bring talent? It can't be all nicknames.

Mostly nicknames, but not all.

Didn't Travis Frederick say that nicknames were stupid earlier this season when everyone was trying to come up with a nickname for the offensive line? I wonder if Marinelli wanted to fight him?

Two words: Sean Lee.

Shady had a few plays that looked like he was going to take 50+ yards but Lee was incredible in pursuit. It also helped that Nick Foles did a pretty good Brandon Weeden impression, but Sean Lee was EVERYWHERE.

He won NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance that game.

True. Lee was great that week.

But helping the situation was the fact that the DE's did a solid job at "holding the edge" which they didn't do on Thanksgiving.

Hold the edge and maintain gap discipline. McCoy feeds off of cut-backs.

I'm a little hopeful for this week because Marinelli is now calling Mincey Jiffy Lube.

It couldn't have come at a better time.

I don't think it's so much our horses. We didn't know our assignments. That was the big problem the first time against Philly.

All of that misdirection had our players heads spinning.
