If MM does two things I hope that its use the screen more and defend the screen better. Imo that killed us last year.
Ours were so obvious the little we called them and they went nowhere.
Couldn't agree more.If MM does two things I hope that its use the screen more and defend the screen better. Imo that killed us last year.
Screw screen passes - we need more jet sweeps!!!And I hope they are not telgraphed and obvious. Timing and deception is apart of it, too. Ours were so obvious the little we called them and they went nowhere.
Not
The screens and passes to the TE were guaranteed for big yards against us.

On offense you have to run screens during the game to get proficient at it, we'd try it once and then give up on it.Couldn't agree more.
Given that we have an athletic and mobile O-Line, a dynamic RB, speedy WRs, and even a TE who can rack up yards after the catch, we should have the perfect personnel for it!!
On the defensive side, with our quickness, we should be blowing up screens. Not sure if they were slow to diagnose, or need a refresher on shedding blocks, but we got eaten alive by the screens this year (especially our LBs).
The screen pass should be a key opportunity for big plays on both sides of the ball.
Hope springs eternal.

Yeah they need work
And Brady/McDaniels. They used it a ton since their downfield passing game was trash this year.Tell Andy Reid that. That’s a staple and works to perfection with them.
