ha ha, some of my coworkers bought this and I've been hearing all their cries of angst today :laugh2:

I guess you and your coworkers aren't friends. Otherwise friends would have warned them against such a move! :laugh2:

Facebook went public for the sole reason to make the owners richer by feeding on ignorant investors who don't know any better.

Actually, they went public because they had to. They were beginning to rub up against SEC rules that require companies with a certain number of shareholders to "go public" (or, rather, register with the SEC). If they could have delayed it further, I'm sure they would have.
