I know our tank fans feel down, but then again they want to tank every year. They don’t like their own team. EVER.

Jerry's thoughts in the off-season will be fixed on his need list, drafting tight ends, a backup RT and a 3-4 WR in April. We know he's on top of things.

And a FG kicker and a kick returner would be nice.

They'd rather have that now than a better draft pick. Until the actual draft, when they'll wish we were picking higher.

When we picked at 4, we were 13 and 3 the next season with a rookie qb.

That team went 12-4 two years earlier and 3-1 with its starting QB (when he wasn't injured) the year we "earned" that 4 pick, so let's not act like it wasn't completely devoid of any talent. In fact that team was good enough that it was able to go 13-3 with a rookie QB (not the other way around).

It was still a horrible pick at 4 (for the long run of the team). Could have had Ramsey and Henry with the first two picks in that draft.

I agree with the OP. The win does not mean anything when you are most likely out of the playoffs. Dallas has a 1% chance to make the playoffs. A win just means we are higher in the draft pick and Dallas will have a mediocre team for a longer time frame as in years.
