I hope our GM feels good about this win

Good thing a TON of money isn't tied up for years to come with Dakota Prescott. LOL

I get it, but realism and a brighter future also important.
This team will not be any better-off with a #11 pick than a #5 pick. And, even if it was - marginally, in the best case scenario - is it worth sacrificing all self-respect, and letting down ticket-holders who pay to see best the club's effort being given?

And a FG kicker and a kick returner would be nice.
I know we kid, or joke about these absurdities. Fun.
But within the inner recesses of Jerry's football mind...he might be giving serious consideration how ingenious these moves seem.

by the same GM people here constantly say cannot draft and draft busts like Guyton and Smith.

I get the idea that losing can be beneficial but if people are angry when we lose and angry when we win, maybe those people have an anger problem
We hit it in the draft every once in a while. Lamb, Diggs, Parsons. At least in the draft we have a chance.
Perhaps you prefer to go 9-8 and stay in perpetual mid-draft hell.

:omg:

The Cowboys are just not going to contend for a long time.

This is their opportunity to be bad and they will do just enough to hurt their draft and barely improve.

We need star players for cheap.

Dallas is one of the better drafting teams in the NFL.

You’d have to be an football idiot or just flat out hateemto ignore that fact.
