What gets me sometimes, are fans who think these guys should be doing football 24/7. Do any of those folks do their job 24/7?

My guess is that the coaching staff sees nothing wrong with his delivery on the shotgun snap and are allowing him to completely ignore that facet of his game this offseason.

BP once said that Gurode is so smart (he had a high GPA in college and it was NOT in basket weaving) that he tended to think rather then react and move at times. Also said his concentration was not the greatest. I never heard where the coaches last year were making him work on his Shotgun snaps overtime- I hope they make it a project THIS year.

the Shotgun is the best formation to use when you HAVE to pass. The extra distance the QB is away from the LOS buys more time even from a top pass rush. Ask Brady about that.
