I just can't get the following out my head

Aren't you the fellow who thinks we should put Romo on suicide watch?

My point is that if you score the TD with aggressive play calling, then you are not in position for a fluke play to cost you the game. When you play for a FG, bad things happen.

Romo would not have been in that situation if we were more agressive. Please explain to me why we did not go after corners that were signed off the freaking street.

We are all just tired of the past 4 years of medicracy.

At this point it seems like anyone can do the job the same or beter so why not give it a shot.

That's the party line.

I'd like a real reason.

Change can be a good thing, and I wouldn't resist it if there were a viable alternative.

Pete Hunter on the football field, after he was in a bowling alley last week and we never ever attacked him or the other 2 backup players.

Why? why? why?   Why?

:banghead:
i cant get that outta my mind myself......

i would want Ron Rivera as our HC and have him hire mike singletary as our DC. Both believe in aggressive Defense and would bring a fire to this team that someone as old as Parcells cant bring. Does rivera have the pedigree of a Parcells, no of course not but all HC gotta start somewhere...

And how much of Chicago's defense is Rivera and how much is Lovie Smith, Brian Urlacher and so on?

There are plenty of talented coordinators out there. That doesn't necessarily mean they are qualifieid to be head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

Being a .500 team who cant win when it matters isnt enough reason for you?

He didn't play for the field goal...

Rex Ryan.

Sign him now.

Ryan sounds very much like another Dick Jauron, Dave McGinnis or Dick LeBeau. And his father as well.

Excellent coordinator. Might not be a head coaching candidate.

Again, show me someone who could get this team to win?

Eventually, the players are going to have to assume responsibility.

Just because we hire anyone tomorrow, doesn't mean the imbeciles like Roy Williams and Bradie James will respond.

I witnessed the last two coaches we had that were not "names".

I guess you loved those times?

Who praised James?

Parcells.

:laugh2:

So even heaping praise on someone is off limits now?

I don't think he was the imbecile who negotiated a new contract for him mid-season, was he?

You mean "this team" that in large part, Parcells put together? :laugh2:

And we went right into the toilet.

I suppose some people really want to be really, really bad or really, really good.

I will mark you down for the "wants to be bad" category.

You talk about the players but they are all in place because of your hero, Parcells.

He had 4 years... he controlled the drafts and got the players he wanted.

Its time for something new.

You mean the ones like Witten, Newman, Romo and Colombo?

That's the problem. Selective attention. Pick out the bad amongst the good. Focus on the negatives instead of the positives. Again, I would be receptive to change if change means improvement. If not, continuity could provide the difference.

When you have some meaningful alternatives, feel free to chime in.

Jones over Jackson... Spears... Rivera.

:laugh2:

Gimme a break... he has had some poor, poor choices.

We would have taken Robertson over Newman if he fell to us, Parcells loved him.
