Any room in there to help fund Stem Cell research?

Adult stem cell research, sure. Not embryonic. But that debate belongs in another forum. ;)

First of all so that the money could never dry up, I would buy a large apartment complex near a college University that would provide a constant monthly paycheck.

10% of all of it would go to my Church. I would donate at least $10k monthly to the needy. More at Christmas time.

I would never turn down someone who asked me for help and I would never ask them to pay me back. I would ask them to help others when they could.

I would have to have certain toys.

A house far enough away from people that I don't hear their noise. It doesn't have to be a big house as long as I have a study/office with a huge TV and PC system. I'd like a collection of classic first edition books. A pool and a hot tub. Every John Wayne movie.

I'd have a huge garden and greenhouse so I could have fresh organic fruits and vegetables and share them with anyone I wanted to. A gardener/groundskeeper and a cook/maid.

I'd have a horse and a dog, probably a Boxer.

A lot of guns with my own private firing range.

A large barn/workshop/garage for the following...

I'd have a custom chopper, a Harley Electra Glide, and a Fatboy. The Electra Glide for road trips. The Fatboy for around town. The chopper just because.

A dirt bike to ride around the property.

I'd have a 1965 Shelby Cobra.

A Mercedes Maybach for the family trips.

Whatever car my wife and kids want.

I'd have a sand rail and some ATVs. A motor home with a trailer to haul them to the dunes.

A 4WD truck or maybe a 1970's version of the Toyota FJ40 Landcruisers for camping. The truck would never leave the property without the dog.

A 1964 Corvette in Texas. A condo to stay when I need to.

I would play golf at least 5 days a week so I would have to live near nice courses. I should probably have my own custom golf cart then.

I would donate at least $250,000 a year to sponsor a Pee Wee football team, a Little League baseball team, and a boy scout troop for under privileged kids, and to sponsor Special Olympics.

I would take my wife and kids all over the world. See the 7 wonders.

Season tickets to the Cowboys in my own luxury box.

A house boat for fun on the lake. Jet skis.

I'd got to every big sporting event at least once. I'd never miss an NFL Draft. I'd go to the Combines.

I would build my dream house, 10,000 square foot with a home theatre, 4 car garage, indoor basketball court, pool, hot-tub etc. I would provide college scholarships and set up trusts for my children and nieces and nephews. I would buy Action Comics #1, Detective Comics #27, Amazing Fantasy #15, Fantastic Four #1, Incredible Hulk#1, X-Men #1, Avengers #1 and 1st row season tickets to the Cowboys.

After that, I would spend the rest trying to improve the world. I would give the rest of my wealth away in some form of charities and projects. I want to create a college fund that would provide aid to students who are average and want a chance to go to college but may have messed up in high school and don't have the grades to get a full scholarship. I also want to go to India and Africa and create free shelters for the homeless that include running water and electricity that is supported by 100% charity; it would be non-religious and anyone from any faith or background can contribute. I've been fortunate and have had the opportunity to experience wealth on some level. I'm pretty content and realized that after a while, money doens't make you happy. You don't take money to the grave so trying to be a billinoair or keep wealth just to brag and say you have a 100 million dollars is not me. I'm not going to live forever. And when I die, I would rather die knowing my money went to something worthwhile than just getting me famous or being held in some bank. In my opinion, the purpose of life is to help those less fortunate than to live a life full of joy and carefree spending. However, like i said, if i grew up with no money, I would probably feel differently

I don't think I'd spend more than 35K on a car. A nicely equipped Nissan Maxima or something similar would be fine. I'd probably lease rather than buy with the plan of turning the cars over with some regularity.

I'd have a motorcycle or three. They'd be relatively light. A 1200 Sporty (roadster type) or a Dyna (even though it's on the heavy side). I've always liked the the looks of the Triumph Bonnie and, for some reason, Moto Guzzi, so maybe one of those two. The Suzuki Bandit is quick and has lots of torque. Not much to look at and zero snob appeal, but a fun upright ride.

Of course I'd set things up so that family didn't face financial worries.

I'd ask my brothers to pick out a location (e.g., Texas gulf coast, some place in the Hill Country, or the Ozarks) that they'd like as their family get-away location and then buy something there (condos, maybe) where they could go whenever they wanted and where we could gather as a family.

There'd be nice season tickets in Texas Stadium, probably not a box.

I'd have a couple of relatively modest condos in Europe, one would be located in the heart of a big city located in a relatively cooler climate (Munich, Berlin, London) and the second would be in the Mediterranean. (... obviously I'd be looking at a large carbon footprint.)

There is a point when possessions begin to own the owner. I'd like to try to avoid that.

Finally, I'd set up some sort of nonprofit organization .... something that would benefit adults with developmental disabilities and, perhaps, stray animals (my daughter has a real soft spot for strays). Maybe it would be possible to set up some no-kill animal shelters that provide employment and socialization opportunities for persons with developmental disabilities. Or something like that.

I'd also make a point of dressing like Bill Murray in "Broken Flowers".

Thought I'd add this. I'd buy season tix to the 'boys. No matter how much I get disappointed at season's end, I still love them.

I'd pay off my school debts and credit cards and give some to my parents.

Sell my house and take a loss because I don't care anymore, my neighborhood is turning ghetto because of the housing crisis.

Buy a nice new house with a pool while the market is low.

Call my job and say "I quit this biotch" (not really, but I would quit).

Go on a few vacations.

Buy a Maserati like the one E drives in Entourage.

Life would be good. :p:

The first thing I do is call my boss and say have a nice life. :D. Then after paying all my bills I'm not sure what I'd do actually. :D

I'd buy a box at the new stadium and maybe invite a few of you knuckle draggers to some games. :laugh2:

Now we're talkin'

First, I can say that Jerry Jones wouldn't get a penny of it.

I would tithe the first 10 percent to a combination of different ministries and missions.

I would give away about another 20 million. This would include carefully screened organizations that deal with helping poor people in the U.S. and in other countries.

My children wouldn't be millionaires (because I don't think I would be doing them any favors), but I would set aside enough for them to go to college if they want to, and money for a home and car when they get old enough.

I would pay off any bills me or my family would have (parents, brothers, sister, etc.). I would buy a P-51 Mustang for my 72-year-old father who is a retired crop duster and farmer.

Then, I would buy a house boat and set it up in San Diego Bay, living their occasionally. My other place would a modest house in the Hondo Valley in central New Mexico. There, I would also build a little Old West town that would be a summer camp for disadvantage youths.

I'd buy ranch land all over Texas, fill em with cows, and help my family. The rest is the usual stuff, nice homes, cars, trucks, luxury suite at the new stadium, etc...

I have thought about this a few times during my life.

I would pay off all the debt of my family

I would move my parents to Florida and purchase them a wonderful home on the beach.

I would then build my dream home in Key West w/ a dock for the 60 ft sailboat I want to have. ( I so badly want to sail the world w/ my son )

Buy my custome harley

Buy my custome Truck and Car

Pay for my son to go to the best schools

Open a large Trust for him

Call CowPoke and go get the best trim in Vegas for the week.

and last...

Call Poke back after we get home and ask him if he wants to hit the trim in Amsterdam. ;)

I would start up my own foundation and dole the money out to causes I support.

For myself, I'd likely buy a few additional homes in some nice areas, including one in Dallas so I could catch all the Cowboys games. Probably get one in Georgia or South Carolina in a nice golf course community as well.

I don't think I'd ever buy a plane or anything like that... I'm way to paranoid about flying on small aircraft. But I'd likely fly first class a lot more often. :D

First - take care of the people around
Second - keep an eye for someone in trouble.. you know sometimes you see on the news that someone is losing a home or their kid needs major operation... something like that
Third - Start a business and/or foundation that was dedicated to helping people as opposed to a company that just tried to find new ways to get into your pockets

For me - I would have to have all the technological advances at my disposal.... not because I am the type that needs to have it just to have it... but because it is the shape of things to come and I want to be in as much as I can.
