Not really, but we all dream of hitting the lotto.

What would you do if you just hit the jackpot. After all taxes paid, you had 100 million sitting in your bank account?

What would you do first? No generic "I'd take a vacation" stories. I want something juicy.

For example. Where I work, the CEO drives a Viper. He is so damn proud of this car its pathetic. Parks it right out in front for the world to see and talks about it non stop to anyone who will listen, and brags about how few people can own one.

If I hit the lotto, my idea would be to buy everyone in the company the exact same model of Viper(about 50 people). Under one condition. You can't sell it, and you have to drive it to work every single day.

Of course I would do this right after I quit of course and travel the world in the lap of luxury.

your turn.

Funny thing about the Viper. At the auto show this year they had one nearby their Challenger. Not a soul was even glancing at the Viper, they just didn't care. There was a huge crowd around the Challenger.

I got a Challenger :)

If I won 100 million I'd quit my job, get a new house, donate a bunch to church, then put the rest in banks and just relax for at least 6 months or so.

It's good to dream. I'd:

1. Hire a good tax accountant and tax attorney

2. Have the accountant and attorney set me up as a corporation or similar entity to reap tax benefits.

3. Have the accountant and attorney pay off all my debt, my immediate family's debt, and then deal with the "family" and "friends" that crawl out of the woodpile when they find out I hit the jackpot.

4. Have the accountant and attorney assist me with investments such as annuities and properties.

5. Set up a charity fund to donate to causes I feel are worthy.

6. Set up a trust fund for my future grandchildren to be paid contingent upon graduating from college.

7. Buy two "personal" properties:
a. Downtown Dallas - so I don't have to go far to get home from a night on the town
b. Ranch property in Tarrant or Denton county to go relax on.

8. Season tickets to the Boys, Stars, and Rangers games (no suite, I want to be with the fans) for life.

After that, I'll take it as it comes.

I would buy a big *** Ford truck.

A luxury car that's gas friendly.

Box suites in Arlington at the new stadium.

A giant house.

That about covers it.

Hey you did say something about dreams.

You're going to need a bit more than a measly 100 mil. ;)

...but you MIGHT be able to buy the naming rights to the new stadium.

"vta Stadium"

...or if you're feeling charitable towards your cowboys brethren..."Landry Stadium".

Yeah right? What was I thinking? I don't know the Cowboys worth, but something tells me the Jones' would be throwing me and my $100 million dollars into the street... :laugh1:

Yeah Landry Stadium does sound good.

Lmao...they'd certainly laugh at you at the very least.

IIRC, forbes put the Cowboys at the top of the "most valuable sports franchises" list last year. Somewhere in the 1.5 billion dollar worth area.

100 million might be a nice cash down payment though. :D

And buying the new Camaro or Mustang when the Challenger is out there?? Also should never happen.

Perhaps he meant a '69 Camaro or something.

I would set up my family and friends for life first. After that my church and campus ministry would get a huge amount of it. I would never leave less than a $100 tip at a restaurant, and would randomly pay for things people need, anonymously. I would just live life as a missionary traveling to and fro, making a difference.

pfft Challenger is just a re-bodied Charger. Camaro is brand new from ground up (save the engine). gotta love that all 3 have 420+hp tho :)

egh mustangs. Have you seen the new "remodeled" mustang for 09/10?

changed the gril. Rumored to have a 5.0 engine that would give it 400+ to keep up with the challenger, camaro, charger but instead its the same engine with only 15 more hp bringing it to a grand total of 315...still less then the V6 '10 camaro :lmao2:

Really like the '10 Camaro, but it just never felt completely right too me. Too much luxury/sporty incoporated into it. And I had thought I liked it better than the Challenger from the first pics I'd seen, but after seeing them in person I was somewhat disappointed that I'd have to settle for the Camaro (only price I was aware of for the Challenger was for the SRT). Thank God for the R/T and after a few simple mods it too will be above 420 :)

Got this 3 weeks ago:

That's why I specified a '70 fastback. I just love the look of it.

I traded in my '06 Mustang for my Challenger. I have seen the '10 Mustangs and don't like them. They bring back a lot of the stuff from the 90's-2004 versions, which is a very poor move IMO.
