I kinda hope Rush Starts

Unfortunately, that's not an option.....don't know where you're from, but we don't quit or lay down for anyone where I come from.
Say that after a 31-6 loss with Rush at QB where 2 starters go down with season ending injuries....because starting Rush in the first place is raising the white flag.

I think the question comes down to the seeding for the playoffs.

If some think they really have a shot at that 1 spot and the bye, they want him to play. If not, this game is not critical.

The real question has not been answered. What is the risk to him if he plays in this game? Does he risk more down time and can this be a longer term ailment?

The other question I have is how will this affect his effectiveness. That's his plant foot, will it alter accuracy and velocity? Will Zimmer just send the farm after him to flush him and get him on the move to test that calf? Can he throw on the run with that calf?

Here's where I am, and I am hurt nobody asked. I do not care about that 1 seed or the bye. I want this team playing every week because I do not know McC's ability to get them revved up but I have seen the others in the past and that was not good. They need to have all 8 cylinders humming in the playoffs.

This is a young team and not borderline playoff savvy. If they need some down time, give it to them in the last game if that's not a seeding situation but the way the East looks, the Cowboys have more than 1 L to give up.

I do not think Rush's performance affects this season as they will not have time to pull a trade off and if they do, it will not be good. At least Rush knows this offense. Although they might try and get Dalton back since he was here last season.

In the meantime, what backup is going to come in for any of the contenders and really make a difference? The only reason the NFC 1 loss teams have 1 loss is the QB1 on each team.
It might be good for him and the team...to get some PT. If we do need him later on in those more important games.

So,who do we start if Dak can't go?

You can bet if Rush does start our offensive rankings will drop several spots. We better hope we can run the ball if he does play. If it’s going to take a 400 yard passing game with 3 to 4 TDs to win we’re screwed.

Remember when romo missed that one game because of the back injury in 2014?

If he plays, he beats cardinals and they’re at least a 2 seed.

history always repeats itself

I've never seen a group so comfortable just giving up a game mid ways through the season because you think we're just going to waltz into the playoffs and everything is wrapped up already in just Week 8.

I agree especially given this team’s track record of missing the playoffs by 1 game. They need to beat Minnesota. It’s a game they should win.

You gotta train your mind to be stronger than your emotions or else you'll lose everytime.
What he's saying is, you can give 100%, and that's all. If you give what's perceived to be 110%, then you simply weren't giving 100% before.

I have not seen Grier play. Is he better than Rush?

You know those sales things that flop around. They are run by the fans. Arms. A head usually with crazy hair. You always see them at car dealerships. I would have more confidence in one of those than Cooper Rush.

I actually think Grier has ability. Decent in his few times on the field. Guy is a good athlete. Not a starter but a decent backup. We have seen Rush. He is terrible.
