I know I'll get flamed for this but... (be kind)

He's had that little bongo problem from the time he got here. :) Maybe he's trying to throw on rhythm more than we think :) ......but every single pass play???? I don't think so.

Drew has been patting the ball since he was a rookie in New England. And fans of his team have been complaining about it just as long. If Parcells couldn't stop it when he was a rookie, he has NO chance now.

I couldn't remember whether that was a habit that's been w/him for a while or not. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

It's hard to teach old dogs new tricks for sure.....so I guess we will live or die with his bongo playing. ;)

Sure BP can stop him from patting the ball! Give him a clipboard to pat on the sidelines!!!! ;)

Oh man cml750...now you've done it! Here comes the QB controversy!

Bledsoe or Romo....? Who wins the clipboard?

(trouble maker)!!!

We had thirty more plays and held the ball for fourteen more minutes.

When the other team makes a lot of big plays, you end up having the football more than they do, even as you get your butt beat...

Look at it this way-- you have one series of downs, gain a first down, then punt after running a total of six plays... your opponent then hits a 75 yard bomb on you on their second play... then you have another series, gain a first down, then punt again after a total of six plays...

You've just run 12 plays to your opponent's 1, and you're down 7-0... so, who's had the better of that series of plays??

you have a point, we really havnt beat anyone at this stage, but at least we are beating teams we are supposed to beat and staying close with good teams

You bring up valid concerns that all of us real Cowboy fans have--but, I do love our potential.

We do not want to peak this early anyhow!

I think this team doesn't have an identity yet, were young and its going to take a nice win to get them to gel or mesh or whatever you want to call it. I think were on our way, We can play with anybody but we need to grow as a TEAM
lets go BOYS !!

I mean we're 3-2 ,who have we beaten??
Wash,Tenn,Houston.

It's so satisfying to see a poster deride the Skins by tossing them into the rotten apple barrel with the other dregs.

And even sweeter to see no one resisting the premise.

They stink, they suck, and that feels so darn good.

Even the Jets would beat the Skins.:D

I just wanna see us making teams pay for blitzing, we have so many options in the passing game, it's not even funny

We've beaten -- pounded, might be the better word -- three bad teams and lost two good ones on the road on the final possession.

Short of winning those two road games, you couldn't ask for much more.

I agree with the fans that say we're right where we should be. When the schedule was released, you kinda figured this would be our record. And I'm not disappointed with how the team played, necessarily, against Jacksonville or Philly. Sure, they made mistakes, but they overcame them to position themselves for the potential tie on the final drive.

My only concern goes back to Bledsoe. Not to hijack the thread, but will he ever outgrow his tendencies? It seems unlikely. And if he doesn't, I'm legitimately fearful that we'll never emerge as a legitimate threat. Sure, we have had more problems than just him in the losses, but to me he's one of the obvious spots holding us back from being a contender.

But, he's got a chance to prove himself a little bit Monday against New York. Beat down that pass rush, even though it's a home game, and I'll be mighty impressed.
