I know this is early but in the 2010 Draft...

I know this is very early and very premature but looking at this team right now, if you had the controls next season what positions are Players in the 2010 NFL Draft would you target at the middle of the 1st and 2nd Round ?

I don't know about exact players, but I'd look Wide Receiver, Defensive End and Offensive Tackle in the 1st and 2nd rounds, depending on a lot of other variables.

I'd think we go for guys in the trenches on both offense and defense next year.

Assuming our WRs prove they can play and RW plays like a #1.

Cornerback as well... you can never have too many of them.

Seriously, this season will determine what we do. If we make a deep playoff run and Wade comes back, I say we go O Line and D Line. If we bring in Mike Shanahan, I'd expect us to draft a WR. If we bring in Bill Cowher, I'd expect us to draft defensive playmakers and/or big defensive linemen.

Alot of variables to consider but all in all I would say that d-line with the first round pick,o-line with the second.I bet that the cba or potential lack of will dictate what many teams do or don't do in next years draft/free agent signings.

Put Garrett in the status quo mode and we would address the o line and d line, although he may be tempted to draft a playmaking WR.

I realize Mays will be long gone before we pick. Like many draft fans, I have a pet cat every year. Taylor Mays is probably my biggest pet cat (favorite college player) ever or at least since Herschel Walker. I never thought we'd get Herschel and look what happened.

I understand your homerism but would you rank Gronkowski ahead of OU's Jermaine Gresham? I like both and feel they could both be 2010 first rounders.
