I know we're overloaded at WR- but Smith

You mean Anthony Smith?

He was a 7th round pick
Most teams will stick with their current excess of WR's to fill their PS or last roster spot.

I liked what little we seen, but I think a year on the PS will be great.

I think both Flournoy and Mingo are in a contract year. As well Turpin.

So some development will be great. And it may leave some open roster spots at WR.
Flournoy is a RFA! He'll be a 2nd rd tender.
Turpin is entering 2nd season of a 3 yr contract!
Every team has 2 or 3 developmental WRs in the same category as Smith, Camden etc.
That's why Flournoy made it through waivers last season when he was released to pick up Keegan!

Yeah, I don't think we'll have much trouble getting him to the PS. He made some plays, but it wasn't like he stood out, and as a seventh-rounder, most teams are not going to have draft interest that causes them to claim him and put him on their 53. I mean, all it takes is one team, but he's a calculated risk.
Yes agree. He will not get poached.

I definitely felt like we needed another thread to discuss this.
Thank you!

Sorry I can;t keep track of every siongle thread ever like you do. Also...the "similar" list when you create a thread indicated nothing so...

But hey...glad you feel better now.

Not sure about Smith, but if the niners cut this Daejon Love kid we need to scoop him up.

Agreed on Smith. Flo is in his third year so no rush on him.

Mingo is a FA after this year.

Flournoy only will be a RFA so we still control him.

Turpin isn't a FA until 2028.

Yep...I know. Don't see how in the heck we keep him. But I htink he'd make a good "niche" receiver....somewhere.

How far off am I? lol.
Number 83 looks like a Drew Pearson clone to me, kids got speed and great hands. Don't know if he will remain on the Dallas practice squad, I really like Smith and hope he stays here in some capacity for the future.

You're not far off at all. We have too much talent.
Dallas is loaded at WR , and if they keep 6 , here's the room. Pickens, Lamb, Flournoy, Brown, Hudson and Anthony Smith. Keep Turpin for your return man. Trade Mingo for a 27 4th round pick.

Keegan has looked good at offensive tackle this preseason, he might stick around.

He reminds me almost exactly of a less talented but faster Anthony Miller, who had a cup of coffee in Dallas but a nice career in SD.

Agreed. Fluornoy was coming off a forgettable rookie year and had an under the radar camp.

Brown, if cut, is on a half dozen teams radar right now

In order of waiver priority

Raiders
Jets
Titans
Saints
Commanders
Seahawks (they will lose out due to being 32nd)
