Not too bad Sir. Drinking a few and watching last Saturday's UFC on Fox..... Only behind 10 shows in total after a marathon of stuff yesterday.... LOL

How's being a new grandpa with the new calf recently? Been trying to keep up but not heard much since....

She fine, they take care of themselves. I'm chilling with a drink and watching American pickers. Got a good weekend planned on south Padre island!!! Looking forward to it!

Awesome my friend...... I work at least the next 5 days..... I truly hope you have fun. Never been there before..... Want to take a week vacation to Texas in 2019.... The only time I was in Texas was for a month watching my father pass away in Lubbock. After a second surgery to his spine he formed a blood clot and then passed over 5 years ago..... Not the memory I want of Texas being my football team is from there..... I did end up in Dallas on a layover to Las Vegas once though. Can't wait to see what the state has to offer next year.....

No worries.... I made peace with it.... He went in his sleep. I think that is as peaceful as it gets.... As far as work is concerned, as soon as I get over a few hurtles, I shall be fine. I may be down but never out. Someone hates me too much to give me the easy way out. LOL... Works for me though. Gives me more time to right wrongs and be a better person in my 40's.... Again I hope you enjoy your weekend coming up.... Sounds wonderful.....

i am ok.
just had one of the worst meals of my life.
bunch of indians cooking fusion asian food.
said it was cod, but it was really tipila
food was not hot and barely warm
but i had a meeting and my folks need to see a sick friend
so had to be done...

our friend's house is quite nice.
on a golf course.
too bad his wife's mind is almost gone

Sorry to hear my friend.... For the sick friends and the poor food...... Man scary to think they can pass off the bottom dweller for cod..... While both can be somewhat tasteless, at least cod has some flavor to it.... (Not much though) The fact is was barely warm sucks though..... A little surprised much fish is served in the desert though. When they do, it is expensive.... Much like Vegas I would think..... I think cod is farmed too much to be expensive, now that I think of it.... I know tilapia is farmed.....

yea i figured cod would be safe, but they cheated.
i figured having it steamed with basic spices would be safe as the worst they could do was overcook it...
we had no idea where we were going.
my parents did not want to drive too far from our friend's house.
we did not have the energy to fight with them, and we took mercy on them as they had only 2 servers and an enormous party showing up.

I should have been more specific. When I think of cod, Pacific and Black come to mind and as far as I know, those are wild-caught. Who knows what kind those Norwegians are farming

First thing you read on google as far as farm raised cod is this.....

The most common fish species raised by fish farms are salmon, carp, tilapia, sea bass, catfish, and cod. The fish are tightly packed in tanks or cages with thousands of other fish eating fish food or fish meal."

Again I am sorry you had such a bad experience, but you get what you pay for..... I love mahi mahi and orange roughy but you pay out the nose for such..... Orange roughy is even worse being it is only sold every 5 years on the east coast......

Dig deeper . It mainly applies to Norway which is not Pacific or Black cod.
