Potatoes are perfect. Got 1 and a half pound of ground lamb ready. Onions are chopped and the carrots are diced. Got corn and peas on the ready and nice Worcestershire sauce on standby. Chopped garlic and everything is ready to rock and roll.
We eat in an hour and a half so I have about 30- 40 minutes to hang out before I finish this up.

I think it's going to be pretty badash. I hope she likes it...

*I had a 'live-in ' gal that wanted to do the COWBOY dutch oven route with about $35 bucks worth of lamb&other veggies,,, I stoked the pit with a foot of day-glo Orange glowing embers& raked another half a foot over on top of this like 2 1/2 gallon cast iron casing-liner I've got& hung out swilling beer listening & sniffing,,, I told her twice within a 5 minute span " baby,it's done" ,,,man,,,she looked at me like I was off my rocker,and told me it'll take at least 3-4 hours,,,,,,O.K. baby-doll,whatever you say: man! It was carbonized black ash ,,,like those little fireworks 'snake' pellets would put out,,,by the time she said it should be about done
