My daughter and her husband did something similar at WDW last Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. It is hard to beat the Disney theme parks - anytime of the year.
That's awesome, brother. I have wanted to go to WDW my whole life and will make it there one of these days :)

thanksgiving in disney - that is a new one.
dentists will want to do that :lmao:
New for us, too :) Thanksgiving is always at someone's house. But I just want to try something new this year. And I have my son only every other Thanksgiving.

We're gonna eat turkey legs that they sell there as our Thanksgiving turkey. :)

Try Thanksgiving on the Queen Mary one of these years, you won't regret it

That's a new one! Yesterday the dentist's assistant told me she had Thanksgiving at the beach one year (I told her about Disneyland). I've always done it at houses, but apparently people go out for it, too. I'm excited, my father is less than pleased lol

Skipping ahead to Christmas... Like most families, I suppose, our tradition was to open family gifts on Christmas eve. Santa's gifts were opened on Christmas morning and that was followed by way too much food, drink, family, Christmas day parades and football.

This tradition was turned upside down when we lived in Perth, Australia. After opening presents on Christmas morning, that was followed by a day at the beach usually with champagne and a few shrimp on the barbie.

As much as I enjoyed my time in Aussie land, there was just something not quite right with spending Christmas at the beach.

Why do Mexicans eat tamales on Christmas?
