I live in LA, and I can't find a decent Polynesian food place within 25 miles... Turkey butt, green banana, Hawaiian sausage. So dang good. Lots of Poke, here, but meh.

In any event, hope y'all are having an amazing weekend thus far :)

I bought some live spot prawns last night at a local fresh seafood place yesterday in Newport Beach. The lady put 3lbs on ice for me. We docked up at Joes Crab Shack for some grub and didn't have room to stuff anything else in our stomachs.

So, I just opened the bag up to get the marinade on them(24 hours later) and those suckers were still alive :laugh:

I knew crabs could live out of the water for awhile but not shrimp! Or prawns in this case.........

Anyways, back to drinking and grilling :flagwave:

Dude, that is so awesome!! Hey Dex, any Polynesian/Pacific Island restaurants worth a damn in your area?
