But I think if we had done them opposite with Jenkins first, we wouldn't have needed to trade up to get Felix.

I am more than a little bummed that Detroit held firm. Totally stupid of them.

We'll just have to wait a year before we have another RW on our roster.

But I agree, I like our picks. They both fill the primary needs we have and we can still get a quality WR in the 2nd.

I'm right there with you word for word. :)

We don't take Felix, Pitt takes Mendenhall, and Tennessee takes Felix.

Wade said Mendenhall was too similar to Marion Barber.

Which was a good point. Although Mendenhall sure is an excellent RB. We have the Barbarian, though, so Felix the Cat will be the puuuurrrrrfect compliment.

That must be why they went after Jones before Jenkins. I thought they should have taken Jenkins at 22, but I'm not sitting in the the war room either.

So it looks as if Jerry did the right thing.

Piss on Detroit. We will get him next year....I hope. :) Unless of course they franchise him. :(

These are great picks, Jerry and his staff did an excellent job so far. We need to do as well in the 2nd rd, hopefully we can get another RB that could be an every down back, just in case MB3 gets nicked up.

I like both picks too.

GO COWBOYS!

Don't know who was watching NFLN, but the knock on Mendenhall was that he was likely a one year wonder, so perhaps thats another reason we went after Jones.

I'd like to know what really happened with that.

Totally agree, those guys who predicted Felix at 22 are brilliant! :)

Seems to me that Some people are PO'd that the Cowboys didn't take their "Pet Cat", only the Best Players on their board.

These picks are awesome, Felix will be a great back at this level and we now have three, hopefully four quality Corners on our roster. What an upgarde over last years bunch! Now go get that wide receiver!

I'm sure not complaining. Wasn't the "Wow" we were hoping for, but perhaps thats was the Pacman trade was all about.

I wonder if that was a Wow as in "Wow man!!!" and a Wow as in "Wow Nelly!!!" for others. :laugh1:

I like both picks.

Rashard is a bruiser back. We have one of those already. I want someone that can break it out wide.

Jenkins is a very nice pick. If they move Henry to safety our secondary will be stout.

Good job so far.
