Not every year, but many of them. In general, very average for the most part, with a few years down and a few years up.Dallas is a Subpar team and has been since the 90s
What are you talking about? Listen to yourself please. Do you think Landry, Staubach, Jimmy, Troy, Emmy, Irvin cared about all the stuff you mentioned? You listed everything except winning a SB. We are not the Bahamas or Paris. The Cowboys are not a destination. We need to win and win now!! 25 years is what you call a trend...Dallas is considered a top tier organization if you consider everything--including fan base, attendance, national coverage, endorsements, ownership will to pay, etc. It's the entire world's most valuable sports franchise.
If you read his post you'll see he's referring to more than just won-loss records....though Dallas is one of the winningest teams in the last 6 years as well with 3 division titles. The current roster is top 10 for sure. Most QBs would love having these offensive payers around him. Add up what Dak has here on offense (the 10 players around him) and you'll be hard-pressed to find a better situation.
I don't care what they thought or what I currently think. What are you talking about? Listen to yourself please. the Cowboys made 8 of the first 30 SB’s.
Sorry we are not a destination. Name me one guy Jerry paid less to come here over any other team? To be honest there are only a couple of terrible destinations. Cincy and BuffaloI don't care what they thought or what I currently think.
I'm going by what the guy writing the thread was talking about.
You changed the parameters.
And yes, the Cowboys absolutely ARE a destination. Maybe not THE destination anymore. They are still the team the NFL wants on TV on Sundays and the team that other fans often want to go see as a road game.
It is not Cincinnati. Sorry
Are you kidding me?
We all agree that we need to win. That is not cover everything he was discussing. But even then, this current roster is better than many around the league....and the topic is about now
With a legit QB ...(Brady)... this team is NFC Champions. FACT.I agree with everything except the mid tier team organization. We have not sniffed a championship game since 1996!!!! We are a mid tier org. The only teams worst than us are:
Detroit, Washington, Buffalo,Cincy, Cleveland, Miami Jacksonville maybe even though they have been to two championship games since we have... then it’s our mid tier area . Truth hurts it but also gives us a chance for realizing who we are.
What is your idea? This has to be a joke.
Nobody could have an idea this idiotic.
It's obvious from watching and following the NFL that teams/quarterbacks are going to perform on how they're coached. What is your idea? I'll take a stab and say you're one of those guys who's okay with 8-8 for the next 6-7 years?
Have him get paid by a team that doesn’t hold much national endorsement value and will probably never sniff anything close to a conference championship. He can wallow in his undeserved millions on a subpar team *****ing about not being surrounded by enough talent and regretting his decision. I’m thinking Cincy or Detroit would be a nice fit.
Good riddance you spoiled-self-entitled-average-at-best ingrate.
As for Dallas, sign Brady and draft Jordan Love.
I call'em as I see'em ...he's welcome to prove me wrong anytime.Ya, and you're all class.
So you're equating the Dallas Cowboys with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Tennessee Titans? But wait, we’re a second tier organization. So that means he’s signing here...
So you're equating the Dallas Cowboys with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Tennessee Titans?
Maybe if all you're looking at is their W-L record.
You realize that players don't see it that way, right?
Dak needs to wake up and realize staying in Dallas and having a star on his helmet has significant perks professionally and personally.
