Both of these guys appear to be high charactor.
Both have the physical ability to play - both are football players, not workout warriors.

Williams appears to be Burnetts replacement- that is good.
Brewster just might have the ability to play RT, but it seems he is destined for guard; where he looks to have the quickness to pull but also the size to NOT BE BULL RUSHED. He might be the guy to actually upgrade Kosier at last.

Now these guys look like worthy 3rd rd picks on a weak draft. Have the physical measureables and have shown that they are players- question is are they good enough to start and we will not know that until camp; and maybe not this years camp but we should get a good idea this year.
I am cool with these picks.

Houck said he'll start out at LT.

I agree with you, love the moves...:clap2:

Most of the guides I have been reading think he is not good enough for LT; MIGHT be able to handle RT= but will be best at guard.

I have to agree with you. Everyone wants those "cute" picks, but these guys will play football. They both have the opportunity to make high contributions to our success.

We both know we don't see eye to eye on various issues in other zones;) but i agree with you 100% on this. I like the picks quite a bit.

Not flashy players, but this is not a flashy draft. I like what we are doing.

I am pretty happy with the picks so far.

These are solid picks even if both were slight reaches. No reason to wait on either if you think they can play in the league. Love the upside of Williams and Brewster is solid.

i hope you guys are just being sarcastic. those two are not 3rd round worthy players.

I like them, too. In addition to their physical talent, both are highly competitive, professional, and love football.

Isn't that what everyone who complains about this team's lack of "heart" has wanted?

They seem like good, solid, football players with upside. This is staying true to the team's pre-draft comments.
Williams might be better than solid, and Brewster has a lot of positives as well.
I'd still like a DB. We shall see.

So you've watched tape, spoken with other scouts and GM's to determine both would have clearly been available in the 4th?

Or are you just reading the internet and magazines?

I'm in agreement, I think they're solid 2nd day picks. High character players who have yet to play their best football.
