we need to go back to some guy who jumps out of the way of contact but will jump on the pile 10 yards down the field. A guy who will run to celebrate with the team in the end zone, while pushing guys out of the way to get in front of the camera. A guy who drags his foot would be a requirement. go, Cowboys, we need another project. How about another guy with neck problems, we already tried 2, can we get one more?
Ever worked out with some linebackers? For sure, bring in a 12 year veteran now...

A whole lot of nothing. Evans came in for a play when Clark went out, first play he nailed the rb in the backfield. Have never see Clark do that yet!

Rewatch games. This last game saw unaccounted players through the linebacker group.

I don't see him as a cerebral LBer and that's concerning.

I think he just processes what's happening at a slow rate. He also seems to not hit nearly as hard as I thought he would.. More playing time and more film watching will help. The really good middle linebackers play much faster then others and hit much harder.

One of the few injured LB project draft picks who may have worked out physically, but go figure, not a great player mentally.

He looks like a worse LVE out there.
Hopefully there's some upside next year but that won't help this years push.

I have to wonder about the physical play and if he's not going 100% due to the fusion in his neck. LVE was never a smash mouth LB but after 2019 and that fusion he played softer. Before he would at least knife through a screen or play a little reckless.

I like to hear some opinions of a mostly knowledgeable passionate Cowboys fan base on what really is Clark’s second season . At times I like what I see and other times he gets lost in the wash . His cover skills seem a little suspect . In his favor it’s early in the career and he should improve his game .

No question in my mind the linebacker position along with OLine need serious consideration of talent in the April convention .
Considering he was a 2nd rd prospect that fell due to injury, his play has been very disappointing. Very slow reacting, which is a killer for the position. Matter of fact, Bell receives more snaps and he is more of a safety. Still a young player, but either you have the instincts or you don't.

I am looking at this as Clark's rookie year.

But I would put LB as the #1 priority in the draft. It doesn't have to be the #1 draft pick, but I would make it a priority for the entire draft.

We need a DAWG in the unit, and we need a general in the unit. They don't have to be the same player, but we need players to fill those roles.

Same lack of lateral agility. You absolutely will not be able to play LB at a high level if you can't cut and turn quickly.
Aside from lack of speed and size, lateral agility was my issue as well so I can relate.

I think Clark needs a bonafide stud LB playing next to him. That’s the issue. Clark is playing fairly well but we need an enforcer

Inconsistent. I see him make a play once in a while they look lost on other plays. He seems small. LB is definitely a position they need to address in the draft. If they can find a guy like Blake Martinez in his prime it would greatly improve the defense.

At this point I'm his career..JAG.. maybe he'd be better as an weak side lb in a 4-3 but as a strong side lb,he ain't cutting it.

Not the impact player we had hoped for. If I'm GM? I draft and FA linebacker all off season. Hoping for an Overshown miracle comeback.

Mediocre at best.

Nothing stands out about his game.

The Cowboys need to draft a linebacker who lays the wood.
