I-Line technique

Biadasz was a rimington trophy winner.

we were lucky to draft him in the 4th.

the Biadasz hate on here is ridiculous.

Unanimous All American, from the oline factory of Wisconsin.

But he consistently just hasn't been that good. Still good value for what we spent on him, but just not the kind of player I'd expect out of the Rimington Award Winner.

The entire league knew he was the Rimington Award Winner when they let him drop in the draft. Maybe the entire league knew something.

It's not hate to *notice* that he hasn't been that good. He was my favorite pick of the draft, and I was cheering him on. I gave him a pass for weak play last year because he was coming back from injury and didn't get first team snaps in a plague limited training camp. But there are no excuses this year. He hasn't been good. Mediocre. And the excuses have run out.

Exactly. That guy JG brought in from the bengals, all he had to do was not touch anything and let the assistant Colombo run things. Set back and enjoy. But he wanted to change there footwork. Cost him his job..

Who does that. Hmmm. I can set back and ride the heavy train with biscuit wheels or I can totally change what they are doing. Let’s change it.. Your fired during the bye week.. Wonder where he is now..

It's not as rare as you would think. Fancy pants "experts" always want to impose *their* system to show that they've *done something*. The success is mine, *mine*, *ALL MINE*.

when you watch other teams around the league, its frightening how bad our Oline is. particularly run blocking.

Quick question.. Not that hip on the technique we used before and what’s happening now. Did we used to zone block or man block. I remember one of JG’s last years with us he let our old O-Line coach go to the bengals and picked up there O-Line coach that happened to be a friend of his. He was admitting to changing there hand and foot techniques and we started playing bad resulting in his firing and Colombo taking over.

Is this O-Line coach changing things that have slowly developed into us playing worse or different that this O-Line is trying to slowly change to. The first 7 games or so we played way better in the run. I know Tyron being out hurts and Elliot being hurt chances things. But we got nothing going on. Is the opposing defenses changing the way they are attacking the run. Just wondering if this coach is changing something.
They switched to zone in 2011 with Bill Callahan. They used both zone/man with Callahan. He was the best assistant coach in the Garrett era.

Stayed zone for 2015 to 2017 with Frank Pollack.

Then Columbo in 2018. Both zone and man. Columbo had only played man and struggled to coach zone.

2020/2021 Joe Philbin. More man but they use both.

Frederick was a huge loss. He made the other 4 better because he was like a coach on the field. Extremely intelligent player.
