I lost my little buddy

Hardline, this hits close to home for me. We have two little fur babies now, but they're both getting up there so I know that day is coming. Been through it before myself with my other babies as well.

I appreciate you sharing with us, and we completely get your pain. Just remember: Lilly wanted nothing more than to make you happy. She hung in there for you. They have such beautiful hearts and that's what makes them the sweeting creatures in the world to me.

Prayers and love to you, my friend. It will get better.

Man’s best friend for a reason. As Bill Burr said in one of his standups, you owe it to yourself to get a dog. They’re the only ones in your life who will meet you at the door no matter what and look up at you and say,”You’re awesome! You’re freaking awesome!!”

Ugh, that sucks HL. (and Brainpaint) Every time I even think about adopting another pet, I recoil at the thought of knowing that day will arrive. Though, the happiness they bring always outshines that time.

Sorry for your loss. Feed on the good memories.

Sweet little dog. I feel you Brother and I am sorry for your loss. The loss of a pet is right up there with losing a family member.

Wow . Sorry to hear that man . When you’re ready go to the shelter and rescue a friend . They need us almost as much as we need them .

I lost my little buddy Lilly one week ago today. I can't get over it. My heart is so broken.
She was 10 years old .
I loved her her whole life. I am going to miss her for the rest of mine.

I'm sorry to hear that. Always tough to lose a pet.

Sorry for your loss. I've had many dogs throughout my life. Losing my last one in 2015 devastated me to the point where I just couldn't handle the pain of the loss, and haven't had any pets since. Sable was a boxer mix and the most perfect dog I ever had. Still hurts to this day.

Woke up last night.
Swore I heard my buddy trying to wake me to go out.
He was one of those pitties that seemed like they were talking to you by making all kinds of noises.

Looked around and my female dog was still asleep and my buddy was nowhere to be found.

Felt like a gut punch.

That is the hard part of losing a good dog. All kinds of weird or ordinary things that remind you of them.
