When we signed Bledsoe I thought he would be a bus driver with a couple of solid games but I never expected this...What is more improtant is his personality...He is a born leader

For examlpe: "I've had people talk to me and say, 'You could be the Comeback Player of the Year,' " Bledsoe said. "How could I be the Comeback Player of the Year when I've never gone away? We went 9-7 last year [with Buffalo] after starting 0-4.

"I want to grab and shake people and say, 'Listen, that team went in a different direction, but we were a 9-7 team that very easily could've been 11-5, 12-4 if one or two things go differently for us.' I do take offense to people saying that I'm resurgent and act like I was gone."

That is the kind of guy I wont as my QB!!

Yeh, and you can check. I backed him up before the year. When about 75% of the posters on tshi board hated him. I said with the right weapons, a decent O-Line he can be more than good. I was so right, and I love it...and I'm glad I was wrong about the direction this D-Fense was going. Ill admit that. Portland Fanatic predicted the draft almost to a T, and also how good they would be this year last March. Props

As a COWBOY loyal I had dreams and expectations of this guy leading us a long ways.

So far................He's been even better than I thought.

I don't love him. But he's been good more than he's been bad so for that I am grateful.

I love PARCELLS.

Bill's the one who has re-created Bledsoe once again, getting him to stop ball patting, throw it away, read the field from bottom to top, and subordinated the entire O to protecting him.

I am willing to overlook the fact some of our better receiving options like Witten are not gonna get the fancy reception stats JW got last year, Keyshawn is being held back to block even more, Terry can't benefit from a QB allowed to read top down, and Price is an afterthought...IF it all works..and IF it all works, imo it's due to the guy standing behind Drew in practices screaming "get rid of it, get rid of it, you SOB".

Drew Bledsoe's 'comeback', like Quincy's one year in the sun, and Vinny's golden year in NY, is about the Genius of Bill Parcells. He alone can cure the Coach Killer Quarterbacks.

Hey Mikey, I am sure you've seen the mentions of Bill as Coach of the Year Candidate. And it's not because of installing a 3-4 or starting a couple of rookies.

What did Vinny do? Threw more Ints than TD's and listlessly ran the team into a 6 win joke.

Carter also was upside down stat wise and wasn't it the defense that won all those games? Geez that sure changed from the debate of that day!

Bledsoe is on pace for a 4100 yard 26 YD 10, 11 win season and this team has a legit shot at contending. We beat Philly under Drew - something we almost never did in past.

Yes on Parcells but give Drew some props.

Of course Nors reads my remarks as saying Q and Vin are a 'good' as Bledsoe.

The point is Bill gets the max out of what he's given, regardless of the talent level, age, or degree of sobriety. And let's face it, Bill failed with Vinnie last year chiefly because he could not give him a good enough bus..unless anyone thinks Bledsoe would be winning with a D that gave up over 400 points, Eddie George, Terry Glenn in a Lis Franc boot, no Dan Campbell and no Marco Rivera acting with LA as the other side of the center sandwich.

Bledsoe deserves props, not for the God given talent he has always had, but for finally realizing he cannot win his way, but that he can win Bill's way.

Oh you're 100% right!

Bledsoe deserves credit because he is playing within the system... something he hasn't done consistently over the last few years.

Big Bill and Payton deserve a ton of credit for first devising a system that keeps Bledsoe's mistakes to a minimum and then keeping him under their thumb and adhering to it.

On an average of one to five stars...I think its fair to say most folks never bother to rate a thread.... :D

Honestly Nors it's just straightforward, 1 stars through 5. The more stars the "perceived" better the thread by the person doing the rating.

Unfortunately more people don't rate threads.
