Wrong again =)

I was for Bledsoe when he first came available. I cannot stand Jeff Garcia. It was either stick w/ Henson or get a real QB in here. Bledsoe was the best available.

I love PARCELLS.

Bill's the one who has re-created Bledsoe once again, getting him to stop ball patting, throw it away, read the field from bottom to top, and subordinated the entire O to protecting him.

I am willing to overlook the fact some of our better receiving options like Witten are not gonna get the fancy reception stats JW got last year, Keyshawn is being held back to block even more, Terry can't benefit from a QB allowed to read top down, and Price is an afterthought...IF it all works..and IF it all works, imo it's due to the guy standing behind Drew in practices screaming "get rid of it, get rid of it, you SOB".

Drew Bledsoe's 'comeback', like Quincy's one year in the sun, and Vinny's golden year in NY, is about the Genius of Bill Parcells. He alone can cure the Coach Killer Quarterbacks.

I don't believe in that term 'coach killer quarterbacks'. It's just an excuse they make for coaches who can't do the job. Gibbs has had success with qb's of different styles. Parcells has had success with qb's of different styles. Well, maybe Brian Griese and Kerry Collins fits that name, but for the most part, it's just bad coaching.

What did Vinny do? Threw more Ints than TD's and listlessly ran the team into a 6 win joke.

Carter also was upside down stat wise and wasn't it the defense that won all those games? Geez that sure changed from the debate of that day!

Bledsoe is on pace for a 4100 yard 26 YD 10, 11 win season and this team has a legit shot at contending. We beat Philly under Drew - something we almost never did in past.

Yes on Parcells but give Drew some props.

Vinny was decent, he was just too old.
Carter was in his NFL infancy as far as experience and no, the defense didn't win all those games. Did the defense score 35 points against the Giants, did the defense score 38 points against the Lions, did the defense score 24 points against the Panthers, did they score 23 points against the Eagles, did they score 20+ points against the Commanders twice. Were they responsible for the Cowboys finishing in the top 12 in passing. No. Absolutely no.
The Cowboy offense faced powerful defenses like Buffalo, the Pats, Dolphins, oh I forgot, we scored 21 points against that defense too. Our offense also faced the Eagles twice, beating them once and the Panthers defense.

All defense, I think not, Quincy had 321 yards against the Giants in game one and 240 yards passing against them in game two;he also had 254 yards against the Panthers, 288 yards against the Dolphins and 290 yards on the road against the Saints and he didn't have a Tomlinson or a Shaun Alexander to take the pressure off him.

Offensively, Carter was the main weapon in our offense and we good success with a qb with just 15 starts before that season and in just his third season.
The Carter bashing is just plain over the top and Drew is benefitting from an improved supporting cast as much as anything and especially the defense.
