He's a natural pro T. I don't know where this G nonsense comes from. A guy with that frame and wingspan plays outside.

He'll be an all-rookie team RT in the league next year.

Went back today and watched him vs LSU and Michigan. Let me say this, I was blown away. Once Fluker gets his hands on you, it is all over. Not only is he as strong as on ox, he is a smart kid too who loves to play the game. I love that in my offensive lineman.

I have heard some scouts complain about his foot-speed, but I believe he has the feet to play RT. His technique needs cleaned up, but he can be a dominant RT in the league.

He isn't Erick Williams, but he parts of his game reminds me of him. I am sold on Fluker. I would be ecstatic with him at #18.

Fluker would be a sold pick. It would also bring some attitude and physical play to a line that has none. This slow feet label gets used on any big lineman the last few years. It is just one trait out of many. Fans have fell in love with smaller linemen that looks like body builders and play with no power. I don't care about a lineman blocking in space if he can't get any push at the LOS.

. I agree totally. Way to much over anyalasis is going on with fluker. Lenard Davis never has had the mean streak that Fluker has. Davis doesn't have the killer instinct. Our offensive line simply doesn't have any power aspect to it. I'd rather have Warmack, or cooper at 18, but Fluker would boot free off this roster and we would never look back.

Davis was a below average OT but Pro Bowl and All-Pro OG until Wade let him get too fat.

Which is my biggest worry about Fluker.

Would I draft Fluker. Maybe if I traded back a little bit. That is saying a lot as I freaking HATE trading back. It's a complete waste most of the time unless you're only trading back no more than say 4 spots.

Not if the scheme had more slanting and pulling. This is where Free thrives. An athletic guy needs to move, which is what a zone blocking scheme is all about, creating angles instead of blocking head on.

But back to the subject, DJ Fluker would be a beast at OG. He has the feet to be good in a zone blocking scheme and the strenght/size and reach in a man blocking scheme. His versatility AND value (trade down for another pick) make Fluker a no brainer.
We were actually talking about Loadholdt there.
