While it does take the adrenaline a while to slow down after a good Cowboys MNF game, therefore causing us East Coast fans to be sleepless in Seattle, I'd much rather it be guaranteed to be on TV vs having any chance it's not.
When I was about 5 or 6 years old (school nights) my Mom always made me go to bed before halftime of MNF games. Even Cowboy games. But I will always remember laying my ear to the wall and trying to hear anything I could to know what was happening. My dad would stomp as he yelled " GO GO GO". I knew if I heard that often, I would likely awaken the next day to hear "Our Boys Won last night".
So for all those years of laying in my room trying to guess what was happening, I will never allow "bedtime" (or much else) to affect my decision to watch a game.
I'll gladly wait for that Star, Our Star, to hit the sky on Monday night!
