Should be our new home unis. The contrast with the field really made them stand out in comparison to their white unis. Fits more to the color cadence of the stadium and represents the Cowboys better (much more distinct). Felt like a home game...

it did look good....made the field look good like you stated..

It sounds odd, but that was the first time it looked like the home team was representing the stadium. The white unis almost give us a visitor in our own home look and doesn't bring much cohesion with our home stadium/field. I do respect the tradition of it, but doesn't seem necessary anymore? I would expect the Navy Blues outsell the whites in jersey sales just from observation.

Personally I never wear my blue jersey, never really liked them, but for some reason they looked awesome in our home stadium, which outside of maybe their first season in '60 was the only other time that's happened.

However I like tradition and want to stick with our old ways.

Just like we still label helmets with that hand held rotex label maker. Can you even buy those new anymore?

Agree, it had such a different look and feel to it. I've been wanting this for 21 years now :)

Just like we still label helmets with this thing for the last 50 years. Can you even buy these still?

Haha, I didn't even catch what that was until taking a second take. Yeah, I was surprised it looked as well as it did tbh. I own white Ware, Moose, and Woodson jerseys to fit with tradition so I do hear ya.

I'm just afraid to set a precedent by changing things. Next thing you know our uniforms are hideous like the Jags. Slippery slope theory and all that.

Blue jerseys tend to look better in casual clothing in my opinion; that's why the majority of jerseys seen in public (not at the games, I would probably whip out an old white for a game) are the dark blues.

I hear ya, but doubt it would come to that. The Skins used to stick to their White Unis @ home but change it up every now and then. Probably not the best team to use as my example :) but was thinking of another squad with traditional unis.

Yeah, and the skins used to be a good football team, but look how they turned out! Haha. I know you tried to catch yourself but I had to hate on em a little bit.

If the Cowboys ever wanted to tinker with tradition, now's the time.

I would embrace the switch. I like the blues, especially if they trade white lettering for silver.

I only have a blue Romo simply because that's what's usually in the stores. I started just ordering mine. The Cowboys are about the only thing in life where I get superstitious, and so I've never understood why so many fans wear a jersey that you only see maybe once a year or two. For some reason I feel if I match the n the stars will align in our favor lol.

But I do not believe in the curse of the blues. We actually have a great record now in those.

It just didn't look right to me seeing the Cowboys in their blue jersey's at home. It's the first time they wore their blue jersey's at home in the silver-helmet era.
