Always liked him, thought he was a good team locker room guy, leader, well spoken .
As far as qb, I just felt our Oc's were horrible and carrot top truly held him back.

I still think he is descent, top 15 ish Qb, but hate to admit this, he won't win you a Sb. He hopefully will be on a SB winner !! Praying he will!! But he will not win the SB !
Not sire what clicked, I just daod that to myself all last hame
Hope this D bounces back. And Dack just drive the bus enough to win.
I was exactly, I mean exactly like you until the Green Bay game last year and had the same epiphany . He’s just a journeyman type , a bridge between franchise QBs . Not the worst but mediocre , good when front running, terrible when adversity hits.

Good riddance he needs to go or McCarthy needs to open up the playbook to expose dak for what he truly is. A middling round backup journeyman qb. I like him and his story but HE JUST AINT IT.

Let’s trade him and a few picks and start Trey lance NOW to see what we got. Ain’t no way in h*** we’re winning a sb with dak

If only dak was as good as a passer as he was with his mouth and a microphone he’d have a ring by now. This is ridiculous. Year 8 and some people on here still grasping at straws trying to find everything in the book to excuse daks behavior.

I truly believe fate and circumstances have led dak to where he got to today. Great story and terrible despair he had to go through but he got rewarded and now he can take care of his family and future generations and generations to come now please all do us a favor and retire or be a backup cause I can see it in his eyes and demeanor he doesn’t even believe himself he can get the job done he looks so stressed out in the press conferences I bet you he will be so relieved when the time comes he will have to retire

You can see it in the playoff game last year against SF he was just lost a deer in headlights. He throws a pick and sulks on the sideline staring at the dumb MS surface. He’s also not a leader in that he doesn’t hold other players accountable he’s not an alpha. Players like Tom Brady chew out their teammates and coach/mentor them cause he cared about winning. Dak does care about winning but he cares more about not looking too bad when losing than actually trying tonwin

/drunk rant

There's heat on his tail with Trey Lance.
Yeah lots of heat from a brittle 3 string qb who can barely throw for a hundred yards in a N.F.L. game and can't read a defense to save his life.

Give me a break.

I feel there is heat on his tail because we traded for Lance. I’m not so sure Jerry and DNA boy are still sold on Dak. They may say they are publicly but I’m not convinced. I said this in another thread but why make the trade for Lance if you’re happy with Dak? Cooper Rush is entrenched in the backup role so we didn’t need a backup. So why the trade? Why trade for a possible franchise QB if you’re sold on Dak? You don’t trade a 4th for a 3rd string QB. Why did they say pre draft they would look to draft a QB? If Dak is your guy for 3-5 more years and you got a solid backup on board then what’s the need?

I think the mere fact that the trade was made shows the Joneses are contemplating moving on. They got abused by France in the negotiations and Dak has regressed since. Dak has fallen on his face twice when the playoff pressure was on and this is after France took Jerry to school.

I keep coming back to the question, why make a trade for a possible franchise WB when you have one? Maybe they don’t feel they have one anymore.

And the plot thickens!!!!!! (Cue tense music)

We are relying on him to be a pocket passer…like the eagles did Hurtz at first. Neither of those guys are very good when staying in the pocket all the time. We see how Hurtz can be if he runs. Remember Dak running. That was what made him dangerous. We’ve eliminated that.
Hurts is leaps and bounds better then Dak.

I've known this since his rookie season... welcome to the reality.
Not many of us can say this and actually posted about it. Hopefully someday the boys will truly be elite and not just another overrated bunch of pushovers.

Agreed. The Dak and Lance type don’t win trophies in the nfl. This isn’t south oak cliff 7 on 7.

He's actually on the decline. He's sure as crap ain't getting better

Dak wasn't great, but I don't think he was bad either. I dont think a lot of yall are taking into consideration how limited the playbook likely was with the late adjustments to 3 new oline players, two of which are rookies.

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve criticism either. Only point is he needs a couple more games in this offense to see where he stands without KM. I had very minimal complaints before Sunday.

Why would you have any complaints?

Dak didn’t have to do anything the past 2 games. The first game he has to do something in he fails miserably as usual.

He needs carried. He’s needed carried for 8 years. That’s never changing. He is what he is.

Y’all held it against Rush for playing smart behind a good defense, but when Dak does it he gets praised.

He's always been a pocket passer with various levels of escape ability. My issue with him is that when he and the team are struggling, it usually lasts all game.
