It is not like Dak can't win a Super Bowl, It is that he can't do it alone. I don't hate him but since last year, I no logner trust him can win us a super bowl. I hate to bring it up. If Romo has a defense like this, he will win a Super bowl.Romo can carry the team on him but Dak simply just can't do it.
I may not be the expert but Dak doesn't have the vision like Romo does on the filed and sense for those approaching defense gguys.

A lot of time, it is really simple just like common sense. How many successful Super Bowl winning QBs need to wait unti he is already 8 years in the NFL. There are not many. Most of these winning QB showed the people they can do it in the first 3 years. But Dak just doesn't have it.

He’s not a progression reader. He just isn’t. Make him a gadget gimmick QB.

He can’t stay in the pocket, scan the field, and throw dots all game. He can maybe make 2-4 plays a game from the pocket that make you believe he’s a good pocket passer, but he can’t do it all game or all season.

He’s not a true QB

I think the real question is do the Cowboys need to pay a guy with his skill set the kind of money he makes?

Not a chance. Dak is NOT an elite QB. We could have Rush or maybe Lance do the same thing. During the entire Cardinals game did Dak make any elite type plays? Answer: no.

it's pretty clear that people don't understand the innerworkings of a TEAM and we changed the offense, the offensive coordinator, play caller, OL coach, RB coach all of it plus the plays themselves.

add in we haven't even had our entire starting offensive line in place , then we're missing 3 starting offensive lineman in the same game....

i watched Jalen hurts play just missing his RT tackle alone he's not the same player, take away a TE or wr... they have one of the best offensive lines in football... and yet he has more turnovers this season than Prescott.. let me see him play missing 3 starting OL let alone changing the entire offense on him overnight....Now add in the defense choking the game away with inordinate number of penalties. sure Judge the QB from a hater viewpoint.

here we are judging Prescott in this new offense with clear issues with players missing and it being new, especially with the red zone comments...

i've seen many top ten cornerbacks absolutely not play well in that situation.... he's clearly still top ten but the team has changed a lot... they're going to need some time to adjust, although the overreactions are priceless and certainly expected but still a giant cluster of nonsense.

The game to game overaction high and low is so why other teams and fans hate our fanbase. now i see it..

Always liked him, thought he was a good team locker room guy, leader, well spoken .
As far as qb, I just felt our Oc's were horrible and carrot top truly held him back.

I still think he is descent, top 15 ish Qb, but hate to admit this, he won't win you a Sb. He hopefully will be on a SB winner !! Praying he will!! But he will not win the SB !

Thats the real issue. The pendulum swing is usually big.
I wish this average qb would be more consistently average.

We are relying on him to be a pocket passer…like the eagles did Hurtz at first. Neither of those guys are very good when staying in the pocket all the time. We see how Hurtz can be if he runs. Remember Dak running. That was what made him dangerous. We’ve eliminated that.

This! I’ve said this for years. Your best Dak is rolling out and getting to the edges Dak. You have to trade off risk of injury for success. My faith has wavered big time in him because he is Garrett like at times but right now if we are to advance you take the restrictions off.
